Not entirely true, sure, new hardware helps, but the game was beyond broken at release. It had to be somewhat fixed to make use of new hw.

I'm sure there are discord servers and other communities that would love to play alongside you. You just have to look for them ^^
Buuut, I also get that it can be very intimidating to join random people like that. I think there are probably also still many very active larger servers. Maybe you could try and look around for people there?

Yes, because ninetndo is so public that it makes them look different from Square Enix, but they're both Japanese, now narrow that down in the same country

Did you really just ask if another country's culture would be different from your own???

Gaming purgatory is the worst. Sometimes I'll use books/movies/tv shows to help nudge me into a direction. I'm on a rewatch of Netflix's The Last Kingdom for instance, historical fiction about 900 AD England involving the Viking invasions, so that made me dust off Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord.
Additionally sometimes you may just need to take a break, unplug and let inspiration find you.

In America, school shoved it down our throat that we need to make ours public. Is japanese culture different or is it just square enix.

Possible it's in a contract to not advertise yourself outside of the company. You're employed by us and it's against our interest to have someone else trying to hire you while you're with us.

For anyone interested a canticle for Leibowitz, the book that inspired them, is a pretty good read.

Seems like the CPU being at 100% in the menu and the game needing to compile shaders might be related.

AK was never truly fixed. By the time they re-released it, a new gen of hardware had come out and could brute force the game.
Edit: For those of you that don’t believe that you basically still can’t run AK on hardware from the time of release.

There is of course always the option of a good old-fashioned Minecraft Server if you have the people for it. Those are always a fun time.

US business culture is its own special kettle of fish. You can’t expect all cultures to be the same. For instance, LinkedIn has historically been unpopular in Japan, but it can be useful in the US.
