there were definitely SOME games back then that you straight up had to, but true most of them you didn’t really have to either

I've been playing WoW for 18 years. The first 12 as alliance only. In all that time, I've never thought to /silly on a horde character. I have no idea what their jokes are.

I've cleared all titles mentioned here. The remake is good, maybe even great, but not as good as the original. It's simplified a bit and some complex things are removed

I love me a blood elf but don't really align myself with Horde. Would much prefer to poke around stormwind as a blood elf than an alliance race.

And that’s incredibile, I played wow for a bunch of hours, that mean like 30hr max trying different races, sadly the game is not for me (also considering the price) but even that I instantly recognised that inn, it does look cool!

For those of you who can understand german, I'd also recommend Rocketbeans various "XXXX: das beste Gaming Jahr ever?" Videos (the best gaming year ever?), which are 3-4 hour discussions about what all the good games were during a particular year (sofar there is one of these for 2000 - 2004)
