2005 was pretty decent. Resident Evil 4, God of War, Kingdom Hearts 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Yakuza, Lego Star Wars.

Yes and the remake can’t come soon enough. This game didn’t do it for me. Not enough combat and not being able to switch classes sucked.

You haven't played the game. You have less than 15 minutes of footage of what is presumably another 200+ hour game.
You are jumping to some awfully uninformed conclusions about what has or hasn't been changed about the map.

If you want to stay together I would recommend against playing 1v1 in strikers.

Ah yes the stunning conclusion where Kratos completely thumps and already defeated Abbey. Memories.

I'm gonna say 1992 simply because of Mortal Kombat. Why? It was the year the Government began to fear video games. They realized kids were happy and not by traditional wholesome means like, church, school, and war. Instead, kids were playing a game that literally had legislation created and the ESRB. Also Mortal Kombat brought a realism to video games never done before and pretty much evolved the fighting genre. Any year that makes the government of the USA afraid to a point of holding legislation and writing bills, and creating things like the ESRB.. thats a year that moved not only players, but governments of 1st world countries. That was the year everyone knew, video games were here to stay.

I think everyone is just still fresh on the pokemon sv hate train. It makes sense they wouldn't show us all the changes they've made before the game is out because that would kill a lot of the hype for exploration which was a key part of botw. Can we not wait before we accuse them of just reusing everything and not adding much?

I've only done that zone a small handful of times and I still knew where it was.
Just shows how much of the map really sticks with you.

Yes. In the 10 minute gameplay demo. Same world but with many changes we don't have time to cover today, we hope you explore and go see for yourself, or something along those lines.

The latest Battlefield and Halo games were clearly lacking when compared to their respective series high points.
But imagine how much worse they'd be if they reused the same maps as the previous games? Just with slight tweaks?

Nah, the internet ruined it.
Original WoW came out even before YouTube. People don't realize how old it is. Gaming culture was different. there was no meta. It was pure discovery. It just doesnt work like it used to.

It's too early to say. We haven't seen the map and if it's a direct copy of the BOTW map.

I played the demo and was thrown off by the in my view extremely trope heavy story and setting. Is it not that bad in the full game?

I think the phrase "tell me" is a little confusing. I'm suggested that developers describe the differences between these modes within their own games, instead of making me google the differences.
