It also came years after RE2, while RE2Remake is a new game they had to stay within the confines of the original game.

Also for what I remember you get enough ammo even on hardcore to kill almost everything you come across, once you learn to abuse the stagger on zombies you save so much ammo that it was honestly one of the last concerns when I was speedrunning for the unlocks.

This really reminds me of the old animated Hobbit and LOTR movies, in a good way. Or something like The Last Unicorn.

The minute details, although they tend to make the subjects look timeworn or ugly, are beautiful because of how much time and attention they must take, I think. They always gave me sort of a woven, durable impression, which makes sense for something like the dwarves in LOTR. I'd say it makes sense for Mario, too.

My second favorite is Skyrim, I absolutely love an open world game, especially one where I get to pick and choose what do and not be forced into doing the story right away. However, the side quests eventually just become "fetch" quests and almost always involve and tomb or dungeon. Which gets real repetitive really fast, and once you hit a certain level, the main story becomes broken bc you are so overpowered.

All in all a good game for it's time, and still one I play to this day, but it has room for improvement, and stands at number 2 on my list.

I donno if you've played Dishonored recently but its not like the AI was particularly great in those either. Deathloop I found it fine because by the end fighting great AI as you're trying to complete things would be very tiring.

I found it to be the opposite. The leads were incredible and the VA work was great. The way the story wove through the world design and environment - especially in changes over the course of the day - was also fantastic.

The 70s vibe isn't really hit on in games that much either so I loved the interiors and UI design.

>Depressing to see such a good developer chasing sales instead of sticking to what they are excellent doing, immersive sims.

Or maybe they get bored and wanted to make something different. Such a weird attitude gamers have where if a dev doesn't specifically make something that they want, it must come down to something else.

Doubly funny because the game doesn't have MTX, so not sure how they're chasing dollars exactly.

I really like the Steam Deck! I have zero regrets purchasing the 512 GB model. It runs great and has decent battery for a handheld device. The majority of my Steam games have run just fine on it. It's also awesome for emulation gaming. I've also never had any fan issues, not sure why others have.

However, I use it quite a bit at work and also while lying down at home. If you don't plan on doing either, and you have a decent PC already, then it's not worth it I'd say. It's pretty good for desktop mode, but there's a lot more powerful PC builds you could make if you're looking at high end gaming. Albeit much more pricy, obviously.

If you are considering getting one, it's absolutely worth it imo

I think that's fine and honestly ethical. There used to be a time where every game would have a demo for you to try out. Now often times you have to commit to the purchase or risk ruining the experience for yourself by watching YouTube gameplay videos.
