Clicks. Ragebaiting. Hype.

"Game X is quite good, but has flaws." Review has some fairly reasonable points, and gives a balanced review.

"GAMERS ARE HATING GAME X, HERE'S WHY." Review consists of out of context bullshit written specifically to get people angry at the game, at the reviewer, or at the state of society.

Second one gets clicks, because we're stupid.

The Halo Infinite battlepass is probably the best one tbh. Only cosmetics, never expires after you buy it and gives you enough credits to buy the next one once you complete it. Also not a colossal time-sync. 10 ish matches per week will have you finishing it with plenty of time to spare.

Both Destiny and Overwatch put exotics/heroes behind their battlepasses (instantly unlocked for premium, free track has them fairly deep in) but these can be unlocked fairly easily after the season is over. Not ideal but if it means we get content regularly then I don't think it's a big deal.

So you're telling me you expected too much out the game and got disappointed, got it.

I thought people would learn the lesson of the hypetrain by now. I got the game on launch but knew basically nothing about it beforehand besides "Keanu is in it" and despite the bugs I encountered (I got lucky, it wasnt that much) I thought the game was thoroughly enjoyable. It was not revolutionary, but it didn't have to be.

It's simply cold realistic take upon situation. That's all there is to it. E3 isn't some sacred symbol to industry, it was functional tool, and as this person pointed out, functionalities of it aren't really there any more.

So no, giving more proper extended answer isn't "being passionate about demise". He just gave properly detailed answer why.

Never bought one, I see the appeal in them if you’re planning to play only one game the entire time.

I don’t see a problem with battle passes, so long as it’s only cosmetic items on them. I only have a problem with BPs when they have p2w items on them because that’s then unfair for both the people who don’t want yo buy it and those without enough time to complete it. If it’s just a cosmetic BP then it’s no big deal to those who can’t buy it and although annoying for those who bought it’s still not going to harm their progress if they don’t complete it.

Battle passes aren’t inherently bad, pay to win battle basses are. The cosmetic ones I don’t see a problem with because that’s then, you don’t like it, don’t buy it since it won’t harm your progress in the game you shouldn’t care so much. If you buy it and don’t complete it that’s on you, either shouldn’t have bought it unless you was going to finish it or you should have finished it.

I did before bans for leaving casual. Now I only have tf2 to jump in and out of. This game was the last other one I had and they ruined it.
