IIRC new gambling laws have made the gambling den thing at the first Rocket base illegal in many countries as slot gaming is +18 only.

I'd sooner they just release the original GB clients in countries where it is legal and have them be as-is. If they did a full remake people would moan about all the grinding required to build a decent team--at least everyone did that for the first Switch gen (name slipping, one with the rich guy using legendary to power the country). Same with SMB. So much of the game relied on predicting enemy movement, your speed, and timing jumps. If ANY of that doesnt translate onto a new engine (which it likely won't perfectly), people would get mad.

More often than not remakes and remasters really compromise the original.

We are clearly not of the same generation. Those games do not even come close to red and blue. …and I don’t mean a reskin. I mean a full on reimagining of the original nes game from the ground up to cater to a generation that hasn’t ever had the chance

Fallout, and Dragon Age both are a long time from next game; quality current gen versions would do much to add more fans and satisfy the fan base.

Make money and fight pressure to release unfinished project. Win Win!

In the beginning of Rayman 2 Globox gives Rayman powers with words "Silver lum from Lee". As i remember. Everything else are just power ups. Also as I remember.

Idk how the answer from everyone isn’t one of the sports franchises that release the same damn game every year just featuring different rosters.

Like - they sell so fucking much and put in zero effort. You can think TLOU or Souls is still overrated but those are on a whole other level.

It's not just gaming, people in general seem a lot more decisive these days. It sort of boils down to a lot of people having the mindset of "If you don't agree with me 100%, you're wrong and you're against me and I don't like you, so pick a side"

Also, it's just easier to say "game bad, I'll play something good" than to get into a more nuanced conversation with random reditors you'll never talk to again
