Anyone played a game called “the technomancer”? Barely any guides online about it. Anyone got any tips that can make the game slightly more bearable?

This just makes me feel really sad. Madden 04 was my first introduction into NFL and I loved it. Franchise mode and then Madden 05 with the hit stick was just dope too.
NFL street was also just an amazing game to play when your in the mood for an arcade/chill/MP session.
Now you just have literally trash NFL games. Franchise mode hasn't come along in nearly 20 years, it's still the same! The focus on UT and microtransactions has killed it. I would honestly buy an NFL street game tomorrow if they remastered it.

Reply to Keyboard and Mouse always has and always will be way better and easier than controller for FPS by DickWriter69
I’m way better at aiming with the mouse but my movement and orientation is awful on the keyboard. I would love a setup like the Wii where I could move with an analogue stick and aim with the mouse.

Freedom Fighters was a gem. I can't help but feel like it's a story of Mario in a Red Dawn setting.
2 plumber Brothers, a woman that needs to be rescued, lots of sewer travel....

Many people prefer controller because it's more convenient to them.

Depends on the game and the given aim assist to controller.

Reply to Could CHAT GPT be built into NPCs in video games? Imagine no more dialogue choices & just speaking to NPCs. by Platybear_OG
ChatGPT (and other GPT3.5 based transformers) has 175 billion parameters and wouldn't even fit in a dedicated RTX4090. and before you say why not run just a smaller model, the performance of ChatGPT is highly dependant on it's size, (which is why people outside the machine learning community don't hear much about GPT-1 and GPT-2. And while there are efforts to make the model smaller (see ALPACA) , you would still need a top-of-the-line GPU to fit these smaller models, taking away from things that people are more concerned about, the graphics.
So the practical implementation of incorporating ChatGPT in to games would be to have send the chat response to a server, and suffer a whole lot of latency for the response. It's possible, but it wouldn't be a good gaming experience. Wait (at least) 10 years, when consumer grade hardware has the capacity of datacenter grade hardware (that's assuming we don't hit the end of Moore's law first) then you might find it more common place.

Freespace 1&2 are both great. Starlancer was another one from that era that I liked.

Hell I'd even prefer malaria an enemy again haha

Dude, you stab with your spear. Hold it it is a heavier lunge. One handed club has a swing, hold it and it's an over head attack. The two handed club as a heavy swing, and again, hold it separate attack. That is much more than just stab. If you had played the game like the other comment said you'd have known that.
I never said crafting was an attack.
>There are multiple weapons with multiple attacks. You can throw them, set them on fire, craft them on the fly because they can break or lose them.
Those were my exact words. Now I'm no English teacher but I'm pretty sure that dot after the first sentence is a period. Pretty sure that means the start of a new sentence. A sentence in which I list other things you can do in combat (things other than just stab btw). Not listing attacks.
I was quite clearly pointing out your "just stab" comment was false because of the multiple attacks as well as what you can do during combat to enhance the attack or keep enemies at a distance.
Is Far Cry Primal the deepest combat at ever? No. It's fairly shallow. But since it is a sandbox game where variety is key for a good time, I say it suffices for what it does in that department. If you focus on just the melee you are missing out on a huge chunk of the game.

Glad to see all the mods but wouldn’t this make more single player games require internet connection?
