My only unasked-for criticism would be my confusion over the flashing reflection, if it’s on a chimney, why would it be moving?
I feel like if it were on something that could move with the loop, that might make the scene completely 100% instead of 99.999%

You're being disingenuous. "Can't get enough of" implies thorough enjoyment or preoccupation and desire for more of something. OP anthropomorphized the creature to a silly degree and you feel compelled to run dishonest cover for some odd reason.
