You unlocked their grooming impulse. Cats groom themselves with their tongues, and when you reach a spot that they can't normally groom on their own, they'll do that. A lot of cats do this when you scratch near their tails.

Fun fact, that's how they would disembowel a small mammal.

Also if the rope fails, you're getting a stick to the face. Which is gonna hurt.

He reminds me of my goofy Siberian. Apparently Ragdolls are also freaking adorable. :)

Turkish Van are my favorite kitties. Mine has a beautiful mane just like this one. She too is extra special in her adorable way!

Apparently one of the biggest issues is that it would be hard to determine the person/people who would actually go up and get the award.

You can train kittens to be gentle by using a high pitched sound when they hurt you. It gives them a little surprise to temporarily stop. It's how playmates learn to not hurt each other and it can really help spare your hands when playing.

my cat did something different too: grab hold of my hand with his front paws, sink his teeth into my hand and rake my arm with his hind claws

I used to have a fluffy cat that would do the same. She was the best!

It is much closer to running into a non moveable object (full stop) than it is to falling on the ground, so yeah.

Paid to get concussed. Ouch! Also, I realize she’s not actually getting hit. But that whiplash can’t be good for the brain.

That's the scene they used in the film as well, i mean obviously they weren't going to do it more than once. They thought she was doing an amazing job acting until after the scene they realised it was genuine and they'd massively fucked up her back.

The front half reminds me of forests in the Scottish highlands which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, and the back half reminds me of Lothlorien from LOTR lol

Well the common theory has always been they don’t want to encourage even more reckless, unsafe stunts

This was 1 out of 4 AI generated images. One of my text prompts was causing figures to appear and when I finally found what it was and removed it, it took a lot of the magic with it. So, I picked the one with the least distracting elements. But I'll be sure to relay your criticism to the AI overlords.
That be being said, I kind of like them. They bring some mystery to this otherwise somewhat typical landscape.
