This is not entirely true, the amount of music that someone listens is not a predictor of depression and listening to music won't end up making people depressed! Potentially, it could happen in a very particular situation? Maybe. It might be a sign of whatever is happening in life at a particular moment. You can apply the same principle to spending much time watching tv or movies, playing video games, compulsive behaviors etc. The fact that there is a correlation does not mean causation.

Honestly, you're better off just getting an RCA switcher (especially if you're potentially looking at other amps down the line):

Or simply pick up some cheap RCA splitter cables:

Less complexity, and works perfectly fine. I own both of the above personally, used in different setups, and have no complaints.

Nothing special, just regular cardboard boxes for me. If the tubes came with their own cardboard packaging it makes it easier and neater to arrange, but I have accumulated loose tubes that are mixed in there as well.

Used to listen to music approximately 5 hours per day. Family and professional life catched up and now I feel kinda depressed. I need music to recalibrate myself. Good weed while listening wouldn't harm either.

No wonder we appreciate good sound that much. It's such an important part of my life and good gear makes the experience even better. It isnt't expensive either, because of how long it can last.

You have two kinds, one that leaves the other pin floating and one that will tie it to shield(which will short it). The latter is better used for RCA>XLR, the first for XLR>RCA. Both will only carry half of a balanced 4V voltage.

You need something like this

And not this

Benchmark cables are expensive though, note these are not sold as pairs.

Depression? Depressive might be hearing that much music through those awful headphones you got there in that photo.

How about some Sennys or Hifimans? huh?
