I got mine with the 3m 6.3mm cable and the 3.5mm adapter about 3 weeks ago. Immediately bought a shorter 3.5mm cable because that one annoyed me + its way too long for my needs

I solved my problem by buying a lazy boy recliner in the living room. I no longer watch TV from the bed. Its bad posture.

I forgot to clarify that IEMs don't feel comfortable to me. But I do use my XM4s once in a while.

Ahhh okay, I wasn't sure because my HD800s came with a 4.4mm balanced cable as well as the 1/4 inch cable. So I thought it was possible. They cost like $200 to replace each cable it's nuts. Honestly upgrading to balanced connection can provide a lot more volume depending on the source usually it almost doubles the output.

RoonArc on iPhone > iFi Hip Dac2 > Oppo PM-3 somewhere on the remote Northern California coast.
I use Roon for EQ at home but don’t have an EQ option while away from home which is where the PM-3 comes in - not a perfect Harman curve but smooth, enveloping, just enough detail, and comfortable for hours of listening, wave-watching, and whale spotting.

the xs itself has big sound stage as well as k7, this maybe the reason why vocals are coming from behind. have u tried with other amp dac?

I’ll definitely try it out! The treble doesn’t seem too harsh for me right now but I haven’t had much quiet time to really give them a long listening session.

It's all good. At least you have actually listened to them and was able to make up your own mind.

Ah yes, great point! Definitely need a refresher on this, for myself. :P
Nice find on the OG LAu! I was interested in the more recent LAuX but never pulled the trigger, and completely forgot about it. I'll pick this one back up in the new year.

If I can recommend, give Harman target eq try. Made day/night change with mine. That treble need to chill. Also marry the girl, she knows. 👀

Honestly, I’d say just get a pair of IEMs.

Would humbly suggest the cheapest hphones for sleep, like These Musicozies. Good enough for movies, and you can actually lay on the side with these. Am using these for audiobooks in bed myself after the in-ears ruined my ears (

What is their advantage compared to Superlux types? Are these not just a copy of Superlux with the transducer bought from Superlux?

Been absolutely thrashing a pair of DT770 250ohm's for quite a while, after 7 years of daily use the only issue is the cable starts to get scratchy at weird angles, and I'll be doing a cable replacement mod and probably keep using em for another 7!
