Reply to found the perfect use for my Dioko's by yrofddragon
Was looking for a way to reintegrate my Dioko's into my daily use and this Fiio wireless was ideal to put them back to work. So far,I am very happy with the volume levels and sound quality. Bonus: the nozzle lines up perfectly for my ears. A step in the right direction; although the case size is a deterrent. Glad I was able to find a use for these so that they don't get neglected.

It's relative to expensive headphones.

Thanks for the tip! I just ordered two Senns (600 and 650), the K371 and Audio Technica R70X. Will compare them and hopefully find a pair that I like.

I still have my Sennheiser HD414’s 40+ years later. Good quality product. Good choice.

That's really great to hear :) I'll probably visit Sennheiser showroom next week and give them a try, looks exactly what I'm looking for
As for the DAC/amp, I've got the Loxjie A30 (mostly for my passive speakers) and a Tempotec Sonata III, but planning to get a Topping L30II/E30II or the Topping DX3 in near future
Thank you so much for your response :)

The mic clips in Pneuma by Tool. One happens at 9:58, another at 10:16, and multiple times after 10:43 in the outro. All in the left channel. Music is a human creation and by extension it will be flawed. I like to hear flaws because it makes it more real to me.

Found it what i was looking for. Electric wizard - dopethrone. Completely distorted and bassheavy fuzzy stoner doom. I bet teh dt 700 is more able than the vmodas ( which i really like for say psytrance).

Totally agree. Just wouldn’t pay for the msrp $200-400 these X Symphony’s probably were.
But now I know if I ever come across another amazing deal like these pure silvers, I’d probably get it. 😋

i totally agree with the point that decent stereo systems is superior to headphone no matter what the headphone might be, recently i sold one of my expensive headphone to help fund my new stereo system which is a diy kit my friend is currently building it for me, can't wait for it to be done and give it a listen in my room, anyway i like the HD 660s tho i currently have the 6xx which i adore for its relaxing sound signature

Qudelix5K and be done with it. Perfect little dac/amp and very reasonably priced. If you should feel compelled to learn about how to EQ it's also got a 10 band GEQ/20band PEQ.
I use mine as my desktop amp as well as portable with my phone via LDAC. I have no idea why you'd bother with something more expensive unless you've got some seriously hard to drive headphones. It measures fantastic and does everything you could want all while being tiny.

On Android you can use Wavelet. It's incredibly easy to use. On Windows you can use Equalizer APO with the Peace GUI. It's not as easy to use as Wavelet but there are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to use it. But once it's set up, you don't really have to touch it anymore. For EQ profiles, I'd go with one from u/oratory1990 (which you can find on r/oratory1990) and edit that to your liking (if necessary).

Hey man. I used to have an all silver system for a bit - tonearm wire, interconnects, and speaker cable. There was definitely a change in the sound. It sounded exactly as you would expect. Very clear and airy in the top end. Unfortunately it also had a bit of a "sheen" that always bugged me. I eventually sold it all and went back to Blue Jeans. When I did the change was also very apparent. Night and day actually. It was an interesting venture but cost a lot of money and I ultimately couldn't justify keeping it. Silver definitely sounds different if you have a system that can resolve it.
