Enjoy your cans, and don't worry about upgrades! The 560S can compete with stuff that's priced a tier or two higher, IMO.

DAC and amp don't matter much either, they're pretty easy to drive.

I love my Aryas to bits, Haven't heard the HE1000V2, but I'm pretty content with the Arya SE. As for the LCD-XC, I purchased it to complement my open back aryas, And yes, I use them for the passive noise isolation. I love their sound signature, but I recently sold them as they were just too heavy for me and I preferred my Aryas for listening to music.

Before the Monarch MKII, I have tried the Arias, 7hz Dioko, and Blessing 2 Dusk. Love the sound signature of the Monarch, but funnily enough, I also sold the Monarchs recently as well. I tried for a while to find the right tips to fit the monarchs in my ear, and using Sedna eartips got me really close, but still after an hour or two, my ears would not be very comfortable. So yeah, unfortunately found the nozzles were just too big to fit in my ears and decided to let them go.

Nice collection, fellow Moondrop enjoyer. I agree that this year's releases have been lukewarm at best. Besides the Chu the line-up was middling.

Are those the Dunu Kima's near the back? Was curious about them but and how they compare to the Hexa's. Yhe latter seems like a new champ in the sub-$100 range from what I read.

BTW I also like your Yoshino figure!

I got the 560s a fee months ago and love them. I am driving them with a denon amp and they can take a bunch of power with no distortion to me. What are you going to drive them with?

Modern games mix their audio at 48,000Hz. Additionally, a program like OBS will record at the rate your device is set to. I recommend 24-bit 48,000Hz for everything in Windows unless you have a particular reason to use something different.

The only major exception is that if you listen mainly to music from CDs, that will be at 16-bit 44,100Hz. Setting 24-bit won't hurt anything and will actually make volume changes better quality, and these days resampling 44,100 to 48,000 is transparent, but if you really want to ensure the best quality, setting your device to 24-bit 44,100 will technically be best if all you do is listen to music.

I tried some SR-L300s at a cafe once and if that’s the entry level, I’m avoiding the entire brand. It was one of the most pleasant listening experiences I’ve ever had

I had a cup of herbal tea called "野草樹麗茶" from Jurakuen, Fukushima. Not bad, not amazing, yet not bad to chill with.
