It’s crazy you guys think these are basic pieces. The modi and magni are really well measuring pieces and in the top categories on ASR if I remember correctly. Price isn’t a spec y’all.

I also just received my cheap dac/amp (Jcally AP10) yesterday for my HD600. I've been using only a dac (jcally ja3) for my HD600 for the past two weeks since I got it. On phone yeah it sounded anemic, but on PC it's almost the same sounding with my new dac/amp if im not mistaken. After some time enjoying your headphone' stock tuning, you should try oratory's EQ if you have not yet. That one became a noticeable change for me.

I had the 7hz Salnotes zero and I didn't like the fit and sound. Even with all of the included tips they didn't fit well. lacked treble for the sound.

Again though, I’m pretty sure it was a bricked copy because I’ve had a pair in the past and they were great so I’m really not sure what happened inW
I know they don’t exactly have a glowing reputation when it comes to quality control so it’s possible I might’ve just had a very bad unit

I considered the 712, but the I heard they lose a little bit of detail due to the freq curve having more bass. Others have said EQ'ing the 702 can emulate the 712 if thats what youre going for. Ultimately it was because I got the 702's for a steal, but! Subjectively, I love concerts so the HUGE (some say unnatural) soundstage these provide are second to the 800s. Currently I have them running off the schiit magni/modi stack with peace EQ harman curve but to my preference and theres just something with the way they sound that others headphones dont reproduce. Ive tried the 560S, hd600, sundara, cheaper headphones like the sph9500, pc38x, m50x and koss kph30i's and I sold most of them because I kept grabbing the 702's.

Just got them 30 minutes ago and I've been loving them so far!
The s12's are smaller than I though and extremely comfortable, I paired them with my spin fit eartips that I barely used on my first iem. It's like having a sundara as an iem except with more bass but less Soundstage which is barely noticeable anyway.
I also asked for a fiio utws5 which makes it more portable. It was very easy to connect and I love the feeling of them, and the case

I have the radiance myself. Its really a nice headphone. I love how luxurious it feels. I just wish it came with a better cable. Why does it have to be so short and stiff >:(
