You cant just use someone elses eq settings that they used on a completely different speakers. They used mics to calibrate. They used crossovers to get the tune. You and everyone else need to just eq to taste. Not a curve you cant measure for. With a mic.

used lcd 2C, and emu teak (new) are easily the best you can find for that kind of money. If you’re not into buying used I wouldn’t hesitate with headphones like these.

I’d consider something like a Dan Clark Aeon Closed, a used pair of Focal Elegia’s and something like a Sennheiser HD 600/650

AD2000x, LCD-1 etc?

Why buy cheaper high impedance cans and cheap stacks to power them when you could put that $ into more expensive low impedance cans that can run off any source and sound better.

I would post a thread asking this but my account is too new.

(also no offense to OP, I'm sure your setup sound wicked)

As you guys can see in the picture, for me it's the Hexa (crazy tech for it's price), and coming in second would be the Quarks DSP from Moondrop. Crazy year for IEMs. Felt like the new set that came out last month was outdated the very next. Hope this healthy competition continues - I'm personally looking forward to Planars reaching their peaks in 2023! More on this here
