Congratulations! If you like how they sound out of the box, great! But if you don't, many people recommend EQing them.
Overall, these are pretty great headphones for the price, and sound awesome!

Looking at a used pair myself, how are they?

I wear earplugs all day in the shop at work and ANC headphones/earbuds in the office, even when I'm not listening to music. I like the quiet, it's shocking just how noisy the office is even when no one else is there, with the sound if the lights, HVAC and computers. Even at home there's a lot of noise that I can hear through my open backs at low volume.

The MixAmp Pro TR appears to do what I want and it's around $120. But it does a lot of other things too and I was wondering if there was something less complex.

Aside from what everybody else is saying, make sure you extend the headband arms to an appropriate length for the size of your head. I've broken a few headphone bands precisely with the same crack location and appearance because I kept them compact while wearing them, which means the bands flex wider than they should to fit over my stupid dumb big head.

I tried using software to tweak Windows maximum volume output and it introduced static.

Unless you use really tight phones and keep creating attrition on your scalp, you should be good.

Funny you see guys that have gone bald from headphones but no woman ever seems to go bald from headphones.
Almost like it isn't the headphones...

I know the Quedlix 5K has great balance control (and independent L-R 10 band PEQ). But that's a mobile device but you might be able to hook it up to a PC with a USB cable.
On the much more expensive end (~$900) is the RME ADI-2 DAC/amp. That has extensive L/R balance capabilities and many more DSP features.
And like /u/Zilfallion says, checkout Peace EQ (which is a GUI interface of Equalizer APO). You can adjust Left and Right to your hearts content without having to buy one of the devices I listed above. Example image

Amazing cans, can wear them all day long, clarity and resolution above anything I've ever heard, and with eq it becomes a real endgame for me, finally not searching for the next step anymore.

Haha, that's cute.
No, they don't. Nor do hats, which I used to be told would give me hair loss. Either they're regurgitating old myths, or they're trying to get you to take off your headphones more so they can talk to you.

Have you tried Equalizer APO rather than built in windows balance to drop the volume in your ear with better hearing?

Dht is the cause of hair lose,no headphone will make you go bald don't worry.

In practice, less than we'd like. I would apply the same caveats you would looking at a speaker frequency response measured in someone else's living room. The acoustics of the tiny "room" your head/ears create in conjunction with a given headphone (to say nothing of the subjective qualities thereof) could be quite different. But measurements made on the same rig are useful for gauging the overall tonal differences between two cans... to a point - for example, to my ears my AKG K371s have some very prominent peaking near 6khz I don't see on any measurements made on the GRAS artificial heads.
I've yet to see compelling evidence that at normal listening volumes "dynamics" is something separate from frequency response and your usual illusory differences that have nothing to do with the actual sound.

I also got them cause I travel a lot but the wire makes that impossible for me lol. Still a very good pair for my desk setup but I ended up getting the 7hz zero for travel purposes lol

Not OP, but I've had these for 2 weeks, and they sound amazing! But you gotta EQ them to get them to really shine. Soundstage is decent, but sounds like your in front of a giant wall of speakers.
Highly recommend them for $109.
