650/6XX sounds like the recc. Maybe not nearly as much mid bass as something like a Meze; but it will completely thrash and destroy it in all other metrics. The 99 Classics are absolute trash.

>TWS last maybe 5 years in the best cases before the battery dies
dude, no battery is going to last 5 years, specially not the ones that TWS use. if anything after the first years they will start to lose their capacity to hold energy, and by year 2, they might as well only charge a 3/4 to 2/4 of the original charge capacity, and it's all downhill from there. problem is that also these batteries are too light a too underpowered to last enough time between recharges before It becomes annoying, and as soon as you start to lose half of you battery life, the TWS themselves will be more of an annoyance than a useful pair of wireless earbuds lol

That's still a perfectly good price. If you want something better than the E10K you usually need to spend $200 or above.

I think the ZMF Atticus may fit your criteria, especially the exaggerated mid bass.

Can't go wrong with the classics or any of the other Meze offerings!

I guess, it won't hurt to try a chi-fi IEM. My daily driver rn are KZ ESX. Dirt-cheap, non-fatiguing, a bit bassy around 200 - 300 Hz and down. Pretty decent overall.

I agree with you actually. I quit my headphones since i bought speakers and a subwoofer. I will never willingly put on headphones again.
I do however use my tws every once in a while when i run.

>Some people say ALC1200/ALC1220P is actually fine for 80ohms
Those are just audio chips and tell us nothing about anything else relevant going on on the motherboard.
>and is the E10k really that good?
It's pretty decent. Considering that you can buy it for like $40, it's excellent.

Zen dac IS slightly warmer and has an xbass Option might be a good Route to Go for you. Can Drive Headphones up to 300ohm maybe some easier to Drive 600ohm and has Low gain for iem.

That sounds like a job for the Meze 99 Classics, Your first description in title fits it like a glove.
Costs about 300 bucks. There's also options for balanced and unbalanced upgrade cables from Meze, going from 100-250 bucks.
I own these myself, always an easy listen!

It's very much possible that your output is just bad.
>I'm currently using MSI B550M Mortar, it's using the 5+ Optical S/PDIF (Realtek® ALC1200/ALC1220P Codec). Is the codec good enough?
Sadly this says basically nothing. Tells us nothing about the specs that matter at the very least.
Anyway, this could definitely be an issue with your audio hardware. I would get a cheap amp and see if it helps. The FiiO E10K is pretty good and can be had for very little money used.

Well, my trajectory has pretty much been: LG necklace buds (three generations, I believe, all of which sucked for both music and phone calls, yet I kept buying them for some reason, anyway)--->Sennnheiser CX (the first listenable gear with good call quality)--->Airprods Pro 2, so for me, I had to break the $100 barrier to get good wireless sound, but I have several inexpensive IEMs that sound good.

Actually all the TWS I have used were significantly below $100 and were/are still good enough for me - though take into account that my hearing is somewhat fucked due to old age, and now tinnitus apparently triggered by covid.
EDIT: currently using Creative Outlier Air V3 as my everyday outdoor gear. Decent sound, unfortunately the ANC is a joke. Paid equiv. of $40.

Her character is that she doesn't want to stand out because she gets embarrassed easily, that's why she plays bass to begin with and not any other instrument, because you know bassist don't matter. Perhaps she doesn't want to hear her own playing and get embarrassed by it lol.

This post has been removed. Please note the following rule:
>Rule 2: Ask purchase help questions in the Shopping and Setup Help Desk found at https://reddit.com/r/headphones/about/sticky > >Requests for product opinions, comparisons, and general purchase advice must be made in the dedicated Shopping and Setup Help Desk found at /r/headphones/about/sticky instead of a new post.
You may also use r/headphoneadvice but please search their resources and familiarize yourself with their rules first before posting.
What questions are considered purchase advice?
A request for product suggestions, comparison requests, or opinion requests fall under the purchase advice rule. These can often be found by searching first.
Any suggestion or comparison request pertaining to headphones, IEMs, DACs, amps, or other accessories should be directed to the purchase help thread or r/headphoneadvice.
Asking the subreddit to help make a decision to buy a product does fall under this rule (e.g. "should I get dekoni pads for my HD650?").
Why does this rule even exist?
In short, this is a large subreddit with a high volume. We want to help, but it's important to keep things organized to keep the sub fun. Thanks for your understanding.
A more detailed explanation about this rule can be found here.
