This is legit on paper, thanks to your Fourier transform but it doesn't help with actually understanding headphones here. The graph we see helps us seeing if something is wrong with the resonances/reflections inside the earcup, or if the open/closed back design manages what it intended to. No need to expand into theoretical Fourier transforms of "whole song FR" and Hz ranges outside of human hearing.

The membrane will only vibrate at the speed of the signal it is given, so a Planar will replay 1000Hz the same way a dynamic Wil lvibrate 1000Hz. They both play the same source. What we can observe here are the decay, reflections, resonances involved with the headphon'es design (closed back, ported back, good seal/sound leak from the pads, etc) and this affects the sound signature significantly.

I think there is something like psycho acoustics … and even if you can’t hear it, maybe your neck hair feels it

I often browse Reddit or Head-Fi, or just the Internet in general. Other times, I open a real-time spectrum analyzer (e.g. Voxengo SPAN) and watch the spectrum of the music I'm listening to. It's quite mesmerizing to see the lines rise and fall with the music.

I make average money, nothing crazy. I like quality. Trust me I thought about it for 3 weeks before pulling the trigger.

yes, just because you cant hear it doent mean you dont feel it. i first noticed it on speakers with a ribbon tweeter but have since on various headphones too

Thanks. Yeah I'm not sure if what I want exists. The stand, at least for a he-4xx + pads, would need to have more less radius/more lateral width to force the earpads apart a bit. Not sure on XS yet, they arrive later this week

Rooms & Woo make good ones for the taller Hifimans (arya, ananda & Edition(X's)) to keep them up without the cable being smooshed, Lamicall Headphone Stand is a cheaper option. They will all work for the HE4XX but might not be what you had in mind.

I decided on using the Poweramp Equalizer. I'm happy with it now, I just want to make it systemwide if you could assist me

The only way I can see those frequencies mattering is if those frequencies being produced alters the ones we can hear in a positive way somehow

TL;DR - heard a part from a fav song while testing the 560s and basically threw my money at him
I did yea. Had my S22 Ultra and a usb c dongle and buddy let me try em there. Played a few of my fav tracks real quick and I was pretty much sold.
I don't know if you've heard, but its a Ave Maria mix/remix with the Vengeance track from the new Batman movie. There's a part towards the end where the orchestra pauses and "bursts" back into life with a lot of energy and its got this..rumbly, satisfying bass behind it along with the instruments. I was shocked to hear the 560s give me that feeling like I was almost there while testing it. I've heard that part a bunch of times on my airpods, car system, my KZs and it didn't feel as good as it did there.
I'd love to hear the DTs off the Zen DAC Air that I got with them today to see if that would change my mind in the future. But for now, I'm super happy.

Larger numbers always better. Just like computer CPU megahertz (or gigahertz). And camera megapixels. Everyone needs that 108 megapixel camera in cellphone to take photos to post on Instagram to be viewed on small phone screen.

I wonder how much digitally stored music has frequencies over 20k. It seems like a total waste of storage space.

I can't hear shit above 17kHz, and no human even infant can hear shit above 21-22kHz.
The reason manufacturers claim responses outside of the human hearing range is that it's a way to claim the headphone perfectly reproduces both extrêmes of the spectrum.
