They sound very different from each other. The DT200 is very much warm-neutral while the T3+ is very definitely u-shaped. The T3+ sounds more open but they're about on-par for detail retrieval and resolution. I really like both IEMs but I ultimately decided to keep the DT200 because it is so incredibly comfortable.

The P1 Max blows both of them out of the water for soundstage and technicalities, but it does sound a lot thinner and colder than either of them. Although the vocals on the T3+ sound weirdly compressed compared to the DT200 and P1 Max.

I agree, when I got my HD6XX they definitely didn't live up to their hype. They have amazingly good mids and accurate and natural tonal balance, which make them ideal headphones for playing human voices (like audio conference call, or listening to the talking heads on the Youtube), but for music listening especially if you are into something hardcore, like Grange, Garage, Anything-Metal, EDM or Rap, they are disappointing. For classical music I would also prefer something else. For $200 there are plenty of really good headphones like AKG K702, Grado SR225x, Beyerdynamics DT880Pro, or even HD560 to concentrate so much on HD6XX.

I am a drummer and while listening to my toones, I focus specifically on drums which are living in the corners of the spectrum - sub-bass (bass drum) and highs (cymbals of any kind) and HD6XX is delivering neither quantity, nor quality of those ranges.

See your problem is fatigue. Listen to some crappy cans for a while then come back to the best ones. Get some superlux, they're good enough but crappy enough, when you come back to your expensive cans you will surely appreciate them better.

Honestly the fit was bearable for around the house but IEMs shaped like the T3+ and DT200 are just a lot more secure for me, which is important because I use them on the go and while I work out. The P1 Max would definitely come loose if I worked out in them. Oh well.

Yeah it's a real shame about the fit. I wish they were shaped more like the T3+ or my Audiosense DT200. That universal-custom shape of the aforementioned work really well in my ears so it sucks that the P1 Max didn't quite fit right for me. It's probably the best sounding IEM I've tried.

I ordered a pair early December 2022. After all kinds of problems with the order they were finally sent and arrived last week... except they sent me the Zero instead. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Shortly after I heard about the IE 200 so now I'm patiently waiting for their release and some more reviews and am leaning towards those instead. You're making it very temping not to order the Hexa again :P

I had a set of these, ended up selling them because the fit just wasn't great for me. But sound-wise, they're very very good. They're kinda slept on, nobody talks about them. They're really overshadowed by the Letshuoer S12.

Just got the HD700 into and I'm a little confused on how to feel about the sound. I knew the driver was the same as the HD660s, which I've been daily driving for months now, so I was expecting them to be a lot closer which they aren't at all. DMS said it best, these are weird. Mostly because they don't sound like Sennheisers normal sound with a huge emphasis on the mids.

Idk what I was expecting but the best way I can describe them is like an exaggerated HD560s? I thought the HD560s were much more playful headphones compared to the 600 series, so the 700's feel a lot like that. Playful but with more exaggeration. INSANELY Better sound stage, more bass. Details are alittle hazy, but still there? Like if the HD660s was a color palette of blocks of individual colors, the HD700 is a rgb rainbow color wheel where it's all blended together.

It's going to take me more listening to decide if these are for me, but whichever I like more I'm going to keep and the others I'll sell.
