To me it’s always between this and the 650. I don’t own either but I always listen to them every time I went to my usual shop. There are more expensive and exotic cans which does some or many things better but I felt most at home with the 600s and 650s. I stopped drooling at headphones after my HD25 and went for iems after that, but if there’s one more over-ear I wanna add it’s these.

I actually love using the HD600 for gaming as well since the soundstage is super wide and detailed, which helps me pinpoint enemy movements

If you have a soldering iron and the skills to use it, it is a 5 minutes fix. But since you asked that question, it is fair to assume you are not familiar with soldering.

In this case, any local electronics or music shop should be able to fix this for a few dollars.

I have the 6xx paired with a xduoo ta-03s with upgraded tubes. This was end game for me. Music through this setup literally gives me a euphoric feeling in the same aspect a psychedelic mushroom can. Not near the intensity of a psychedelic obviously but small subtle hints of euphoria surging through my stomach and body. Like 1/100th of the euphoria psychedelics can give you, but still enough to notice and feel great from the blissful inviting warmth of the music

How do you find the fit comfort? They aren't huge but I've seen some complaints about the chunkiness combined with the weird angles.

I've considered ordering these since they aren't real costly and the Arias are on the heavy side, which I use a lot as a basic daily driver (YouTube, occasional music, also I won't cry if I drop and break them like I would with my more expensive gear).

It's awesome that you found something that you enjoy at work rather than some standard BT buds. I did the same thing when I worked at a metal shop. There was lots of very loud noises, or sometime just long days where private music in the ears was a savior. I would recommend you get some Wireless adapter like the Fiio UTWS5, or if you can find them, the LC-BT2.

I ordered a pair of HD700 on eBay. The seller had 100% feedback over many years, including lots of audio products.

He didn't ship the headphones for weeks and kept going back and forth, using COVID as an excuse. Finally he sent me an HD700 box but it had a pair of SHP-9500 in them. Got a refund and ended up finding another pair of HD700 for $50 cheaper.
