You mentioned that you have the stock cable going into a 3.5mm converter? Do you mean you have the 6.3mm end going into a 3.5mm adapter so it will fit into the dongle? Because the stock cable is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm with a 6.3mm jack adapter on the end of it that can be unscrewed.

Regarding the cable itself, you could get a velcro tie and wrap up the excess wire to have it look cleaner and be easier to carry around. It's what I'm currently doing with my pair.

I have never A/B tested against my magnius/modius stack but I would imagine your mileage will varying depending on your headphones. The Hel is very convenient for gaming and using a mic but if you’re trying to min/max audio quality then perhaps it would be better to use a non-gaming product.

It competes in the 5-6k region with the Variations. Very impressive!

I’ve tried them against other more expensive Bluetooth headphones. Objectively they’re not as good. That’s obvious since they’re cheaper than for example Sennheiser Momentum 4 but for what you pay, you get a great sounding, very usable Bluetooth headphone

Honestly seems nice for when you’re riding a bike casually. You don’t have to worry about not hearing things

For me and some reviews I've read as well have said that its pretty transparent, like the headphone you have matters more. The ananda is pretty open headphone and playing games with it, never felt closed in.

See, I don't know if the grill is that blocked off in itself, I thought the dampening ring was what did that, the general consensus seems to be not to mess with it at all, but the tinkerer in me just wants to find out 😂.
