That's not a HD650 m8te. The HD650 isn't on the HD600 level unfortunately..

Oratory's EQ is computer-generated. I suggest using the EQ as a rough base and adjust by ear.

u/si_ro_le_88, Beyerdynamics are anything but similar to Koss KSC75 tonally... Same for the Senns but those actually have bass roll off but still are tonally different... the Koss are a special set.

The Koss has non existent energy below 100 Hz which means the Beyerdynamic is better at the deeper rumbly bass frequencies by a country mile... So that makes them very different sounding headphones

I've got one of these with a qdc Neptune. Try sticking it inside the carrying case on the side of it.

In my instance it's just to hold the cleaning tool inside the case.

The only thing I use EQ on is my Audeze, and that is not always either. For everything else I prefer the original sound.

It took me many years. Every time I tried EQ I hated the changes until I tried convolution EQ impulses a couple years ago and suddenly I loved it.

neither of these need an amp, the dusk sounds better, isolation wise I dont remember since I had the shure 535 with them that blew these 2 out of the water in that department, but the Dusk I kept has decent isolation. I remember the 7hz sounding musical with good details but had worse soundstage and detail retrieval than my AKg N5005 which I kept. The Dusk that replaced the AKG did almost everything right and is great with all genres (Still smaller soundstage than the N5005). Just my thoughts.

Apple says their computers output up to 3 Vrms to high impedance headphones. If it was 1 Vrms (the Apple dongle’s power level) I’d say that’s borderline, you might benefit from more headroom, but 3 is tons of power.

I've been using Moondrop Aria snow editions for about a week now and I've been really enjoying them but I've also heard really good things about these they were on my wishlist too together with the Tin T2's
