Ah that works too. Apart from the treble roll off I think this is a really great set. Although I'd say the Tangzu Wan'er is still better out of the box, and it fits me better too. But overall both are 90% similar.

Surprised nobody said anything about the Google dongle yet 😁 It does the job, but it's honestly nothing to write home about in terms of sound quality. Considering you just got yourself a nice pair of premium IEMs, you might want to consider upgrading to a better dongle / DAC/amp in the future to unleash the "true potential" of the Blessing 2s. Even something as cheap as the $9 Apple dongle was enough for me to hear a noticeable improvement in sound quality (everything sounds tighter and more detailed, soundstage is wider, etc.) Btw I don't mean to spoil your fun, I just thought I'd mention it since the Blessing 2s are apparently great IEMs but the Google dongle is just "meh". Thanks for the review, have fun with the B2s!

The only thing that stopping me from buy them is the construction. Looks horrible bad made. In any case, I still don't know whether to buy these or the 770 from Beyer

That's exactly what I meant... I know Oratory's EQ has some suggested bands that you can adjust if it's too bassy, has too much presence, too little treble, etc. How would you know if the EQ has personally too much bass or too little treble? You listen with YOUR ears! Not Oratory's ears, yours. Please read my comment again. I said "I highly recommend anyone WHO USE THE EQ to also ADJUST BY EAR." I am not saying to start using your ears to EQ from scratch, although that would be the endgoal. Oratory's EQ is a good base, but everyone should listen and adjust as necessary.

I have crossfeed in my amp as well. It is super useful for older songs so I don't have to have such hard-pan with different things. It is nice to see it in more amps. My knob feel isn't as good as yours since mine isn't just a knob for turning but also for selecting.

Yes! The X feed is easily the best implementation I’ve heard. There’s a thread on head fi about it I think. The process is pretty interesting if you’re into that kind of thing.

Putting the knob feel into technical terms: it fucks… holo uses a high end version of an alps pot and its smoother than butter haha. Also, Pushes 3W to 50ohms with very low distortion, so it’s no slouch in terms of power.

After owning this amp for what feels like forever, the only thing that makes no sense to me is the output impedance switch… it is either .01 ohm or 100ohm. Can’t think of a reason you’d ever want a 100ohm output impedance. If anyone has theories, I’m all ears.

I’ve had LSR 305s, 705s, IK MTM with a sub, ascend acoustics sierra 2s, and kef LS50 wireless 2 so far.

These are my favorites for sure. They just melt into the room and the auto room calibration works very well. Definitely worth every penny. If (when) I do upgrade it’s going to be either a higher end pair of ā€œthe onesā€ or a set of their main monitors when I buy a house šŸ‘

Does that headphone amp have a crossfeed switch? Also, how is the knob feel with that? I don't think I have ever used one with a round knob.

I use the red, it fits and isolate really well to me, also very soft and comfortable.

I tried these others here on the picture but very slightly not sure which one to use beside the red ones.

My question would be, are the measurement devices we currently use able to properly display those differences? Mind you, these are the same smoothed FR graphs that don’t show (or we can’t interpret) slam, detail retrieval, sound stage, etc. from. to be clear, I am not even saying there is a difference, but I am saying that it wouldn’t be inconceivable that the change is more fine grained than our current graphs are able to show. They are clearly limited in this regard. My advice is and always will be listen for yourself and do you best to do the cleanest a/b comparison you can. That way, even if it is placebo, who cares because it is better for your experience.
