I am looking to start my audiophile journy, I am planing to buy TempoTec V6 with few IEM with
4.4mm balanced plug.
So far, I have chosen TRUTHEAR x Crinacle ZERO, 7Hz Salnotes Zero with Type C and 4.4mm to 0.78 cable.
For my third pair I am torn between KZ PR1 Pro and Letshuoer S12 PRO.
The KZ I think I will like the frequency response but it's 80$ plus I will need another upgrade cable, 4.4mm to 0.75, which will bring the cost close to 100$, at that price hmight be better options.
Letshuoer S12 PRO looks great with the swappable plug cable thus I won't need to buy any upgrade cable for 3 IEMs but I am little bit sensitive to treble.
From what I have read, they have a bit too much treble.
Which pair of of planar IEM should I buy for under 150$?

I have Samsung Galaxy A12 and it's a weird case. For me the default system EQ (everything is at 0db) sounds worse than if I change anything. Even a 20k -0.5db decrease changes everything. My theory is some Samsung phones basic EQ is actually boosts some frequencies which could cause worse sound. Also some phones have audio settings and you can choose what type of headphones/IEMs you using and it changes the EQ even though the system EQ is at default

I have a playlist in Plex called "test" which was supposed to be short and sharp but is about seven hours long now....

As others have said, use what you know and enjoy, and within that have some variety.

Eg. My test playlist has some Korn, some thelonious monk, some Karajan, etc etc. Horses for courses.

"Busy" sounding stuff is always good. I basically Pavlov'd myself into always going for Magnolia by Playboi Carti whenever I think of "headphone testing songs" even though it's not the best; it does have a constant, rumbling bassline; vocals, drums and a background synth pad but it doesn't really fit my own ideal.

I recently got the M40Xs and that, With You by Linkin Park (good choice imo), Instant Crush by Daft Punk (OK pick for testing more breathy vocal and synth sounds), Fistful of Steel by RATM (great pick if I do say so - super dynamic) and (Coffee's for Closers) by FOB (again, great pick imo - super loud and anthemic) were the first songs I played.

More songs I like that would probably be good (for fun):

You Lose! by Magdalena Bay - Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd - Supersonic by Skrillex - Ode to the Mets by The Strokes - Pink Moon by Nick Drake - #IMSIPPINTEAINYOHOOD by XXXTENTACION - I Get Wet by Andrew W.K. - Miami Ultras by Yung Lean - Motherfucker=redeemer by GY!BE - Hatred of Music I by Tim Hecker

Das Parfüm hat kurz geweint, dann war alles okay.
Leider ist mir auch ein wenig Glas in mein Sandwich gefallen, das ich fast mitgegessen hätte. War gefährlich.

Yesterday a perfume bottle from a shelf decided to "kiss" my little dot. Didn't end well as you can see. Thankfully I have some spare tubes.
Have been using the lil fella for about 2 years almost daily and I love it. Sounds great on my Sennheiser HD560s and Focal Clear OGs.

I bough M50x few years ago just to find out that absolutely nothing sounds like I want it to sound on them. I tried to get used to them for couple of days, but eventually returned the within a week. I couldn't find a single album that I liked while listening through them. That bass signature, clamp force, it was just not for me.
