Made it stock crack first, stuck with that for a while and then did the speedball upgrade after. IMO the speedball upgrade strips all of what I like about the 6XX away and makes it pretty clinical. Cool if that's what people are into but I'd rather buy specific headphones for that application.

In my personal opinion he always pushes products to others and he seems to like everything thats like almost 80% of the shit he gets. He offers no valuable info its just like old version of 2018 Logan Paul selling you his merch vibe but for audio.

But them again he has a big fanbase and he has big patreon community + he sells all the free iems for some money on his patreon. So clearly he has a big following. But my opinion remains the same. Bit I suggest you watching some of his videos and decide for yourself.

>Solid state plays back that experience the artist created.

The sound engineer created.
And sometimes they don't even think about it and use low tier recording material. Or have bad engineers.

So you always listen to your headphones on the same computer/place ?
Never in bed ?
How do you manage EQs especially if you have different profiles/headphones ?

I have my smartphone + XDUoo 05 Plus, as well as work laptop, personal laptop, personal computer. Too much of a hassle for me to EQ.

Hello, I'm looking for alternatives to Beyerdynamic DT 990 Edition. I used to have Superlux HD681s and with EQ and changing stock pads to velour I managed to tame the treble and make them sound good to my ears. After a problem with the cable, I purchased the DT 990 Edition 32 ohms two days ago. Unfortunately, even with EQ, sometimes the treble is too harsh. I don't know if it's worth to wait or send them back while I can.I thought about getting DT 880 Edition 32 ohms instead, or Fidelio X2HR as alternatives. I am searching for low impedance headphones that can be driven from portable devices without an amp, over ear, open back or semi open. I mostly like to hear bass and mids, I don't mind highs as long as the treble isn't too harsh. Balanced all around would be nice too. Same budget of the DT 990 Edition 32 ohm or less than 200€. I live in Europe / Italy.

I'll take my sweet time but I really like having multiple headphones they are so different. Once I get I really good pair as a cherry ill prolly keep my collection fit years am not planning to just buy everything as you can see this collection was educational for me. Now I have experienced a wide variety of sounds for cheap to find where my taste lies before I really splurge on my endgame set up. And this set up goes to my son for him to learn on
