Thank you, do you find when laying down the clamping force seems quite high? I dont notice it when sitting normally but its quite noticeable when laying, I suppose this will ease up with use?

I'll give it a check. It's weird because it was like that right of out of the box plugged into my DAC, but I'll give it a look over regardless.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the aria and hexa, I think I just wanted something different to listen to but I can’t lie as I did watch the reviews and was swayed by the hexa

Totally different genre than what I normally listen to… but this one certainly is a banger, very atmospheric

Congrats! Also of note, if you want to EQ in native android using Wavelet or something similar you can update to their new Android 11 build if you have not already. Welcome to the team music enjoyer.

I think there’s so much new stuff coming out nowadays and you could find stuff that’s better for cheaper but it really depends on what you listen to

I find that I use the blue cabled iem (tangzu wu zetian heyday) more simply do to fit and comfort

Definitely has to do with how they are tuning the headphones. Probably effects bass mostly.

I agree it does look dodgy. However Shure in my experience aren't great cable wise & do have a bit of a cheap feel.

Yeah, LCD-2 Closed is the best closed back I've heard so far. XC was pretty bad without EQ imo, but with EQ might be fantastic. I'll make reviews on all of them when I get to it ;)

Galaxy Buds pro pro are relatively fine, but if you want sonplete silence: IEMs and some wireless adapter, forgot which one exactly, but there's one from FiiO that's very good.
The catch: you need to buy new IEMs and the adapter and that stuff is pricey as hell.

Oh, and a vintage set, at that. I like the sleek black look of the new HD600, but that marble look is pretty sweet, to.

Is this the new Gen2 Shure with the red filter ? How is it ? I have the iBasso DX320 as well and one of my IEMs is the first gen Shure SE846.

Looking into these now - super cool. Does the charging case have room for the IEM as well or do you have to unplug them every time you put them in the case?
Edit: Answered my own question there’s a pic in the product reviews that show the case holding the iem as well

AMP13 sucks. I have it. Bloated bass and muddy details. Try the newer AMP14. Same Nutube as in AMP13 but tuned for more details and still having that tube sound ! Also AMP14 has balanced out and dedicated line out while AMP13 only has 3.5mm headphone outs.

u/lmsjry, I posit you get the Monolith THX AAA Balanced Amp from Monoprice. They have more output power than the Asgard at an even cheaper price.

I'm using them exclusively wireless with kz's earhooks and I absolutely love them. I got them on impulse through a deep discount and I thought I'd wasted money, but they sound amazing to me since the iem is tuned for foams which is what I normally use.
