For real, if they are not great, I am just rushing to AVExchange and offloading them stat.

Amazing price. I have these headphones and love them, despite the weight.

There was a subwoofer on monoproce earlier today for under $30 that quickly changed to $70 and everyone thought pricing error as well. Who knows

Early in my work career I decided it would be okay to write an email to my girlfriend using my work email. Since I was at work, I got interrupted multiple times, and I ended up accidentally sending the email to my boss instead of my girlfriend.
I didn't realize my mistake until he replied to the email with "I love you too"

*albeit very forward and energetic. Necessary tradeoff in the 2k range.

God damn, I'm gonna have to pull the trigger on these.... $185 for $600 headphones.... Almost too good to be true. From the limited measurements I've found, they seem to actually be really promising.

Good job! You will want to make or buy a strap for them (I'll post measurements when I get them) to get the weight off the top of your skull. The M1070 hurt my head after just a few minutes. I've made straps out of sham-wow and zipties and it is important.

Definitely worth it for $185, but I’m happy with my Blue Ellas as my closed-back planar option. If I didn’t have those, I’d be all over this.

65$ international shipping + 21% EU tax, oof... Still ordered it lmao, i'm a sucker for good looking headphones and bass quality and this one seems to tick those boxes.

Honestly if you have a big collection of headphones it's worth having a big collection of pads, there's usually something better than stock, but you can't never know for sure before trying

My interest was piqued until I looked at the specs - at 1.9 pounds, are these the world’s heaviest headphones? Should probably factor in the cost of a good neck brace or future visits to an orthopedist before buying.

I honestly haven’t had any issues with my LCD-2s when it comes to weight. I wear them probably 8-10 hours most days and don’t notice the weight at all. When I first got them I noticed it more cause I had been using HD600s but after a day or two the weight disappeared

They're not on sale for Amazon when I checked. I have a feeling they're going to cancel these orders and cite a pricing error.

New audiophile here. I the last few weeks I tried a bunch of Sennheisers, Grados, Hifimans, Focals, and was most impressed with Audeze - of the latter I tried LCD-2C and LCD-X (both ex-demo). I grabbed the X in the end, and honestly I am thrilled with them. I can see me sticking with them for some years - while they aren't the lightest set of cans, I still find them comfortable.
I am too busy geeking out on a equipment and music server build to worry whether I should swap my new purchase! But I would be happy to be educated on IEMs - I noted in this channel recently that I've never considered them, as I would imagine they could not produce much bass, soundstage, or "presence". Indeed, I wonder if I might get some inexpensive ones to (try to) replace my ageing Bowers & Wilkins closed-backs - sadly they feel a bit flat now my ears are getting nicer treatment in the house.
