going from bluetooth to wired will be the biggest difference. but you need to make sure your audio source is high quality too. if you are listening to low quality audio files then going to wired wont help much

Did a bunch of research and they seemed like the best fit for me. My budget isn’t super high and I’m a college student, so it was between these, the ATH m50x, and Beyerdymanic DT 770s. Just trying to get into the hobby without breaking the bank, as well as moving away from beats

Did your order get processed by Monoprice? Although Amazon shows they processed my order. Monoprice still haven’t sent out the confirmation email with tracking?

NOTE: for music if you have a music player that by-passes that android volume thing.

Even with my sensitive IEM the volume of the apple dongle sucks in my Youtube and movies

They are huge and heavy but quite confortable. The cable is horrible. The sound is boring af. I feel like it would be a good monitoring headphones but not an enjoyable one. Altought, the closed back competition at this price is non existent, it would be a big recommendation at that price and EQ the parts you don't like

the continuous quest to make phones thinner
People do not want emotion and power. They just want pounding bass.

If you want decent sound out of a modern phone you'll have to spend 40-60 euros on a good dongle

True, but 3 of the 4 devices have headphone Jack's. But the s6 stomps them. If I hooked the headphones into a receiver would I get the sound I'm looking for or should I get a dedicated headphone amp
