Wow 5 days, i usually wait 7-30 days for aliexpress to ship my item. Wait for a week, if nothing then cancel it.

Well, that highly depends on what headphones you have and where you're located. It doesn't make sense to ship them halfway across the world. It's usually best to find someone local unless you need specialized skills for your particular headphone. It's going to be hard to recommend someone without any information, but I'd say a friend of a friend who can solder and is willing to do it for a small payment + coffee or something is probably your best bet.

Typing on a laptop keyboard instead of the mechanical keyboard right behind it. Resting his forearms against the edge of the desk. Headphones backwards. Monitors way too high. Desk way too high unless there is a keyboard tray? Cable management is a mess.

This is made by an AI maliciously trying to convince humans of a horrible ergonomic situation.

Not exactly, this change only concerns Android:

> In a statement to Rahman, Qualcomm confirmed Android OEMs don’t need to pay the company for licensing to access aptX and aptX HD encoders. They are now a part of the AOSP Apache license, and free to use. [...] This means any developer creating a custom Android-based ROM can now add support for Qualcomm aptX or aptX HD without ripping them from a licensed build.

But also:

> "As per our usual business processes, the licensing of aptX [will remain] unchanged apart from contributing the aptX and aptX HD encoders to AOSP."

So licensing fees are still required to use Qualcomm's aptX and aptX HD encoders outside of Android.

Scam is a big word that assumes intent instead of error. I understand the frustration though in a time we expect next day shipping on everything we order. I'd see if there's a customer service number, im sure they will sort it out. Hope you get it soon!

If it was USA, I am sure they wouldn't have dream of scamming me. But since I am in SEA I am worried. They even gave me free shipping (worldwide economy DDU) which i thought was too good to be true since it's very far from USA. Maybe they are thinking they are not bound by asian laws since they are american company. and they don't have an official store or distributor here, shipping is handled by third party.

Yeah directly from their website. I don't think I can call though, cuz I don't live in USA and international call charge will be extremely high. I sent them a ticket on their support form now. Hoping for a reply on that.

I'm sure they did not scam you. Call their customer service. Sometimes it just takes a while to ship especially when you order through the company website.
