I had the 60 Ohm version. Unfortunately, I had a magnet mishap. I had them in the Monoprice Retro frame with Brainwavz hybrid pads and was very surprised. I was going to put them into my Philips Fidelio frame and as I placed the driver on the table, the screwdriver magically shot across the table (really only couple of inches) and impaled the cone. I was super pissed and will buy them again sometime.

I’ve actually found the included ear fins to be a much better fit too. It feels a little strange not having anything around the back side of my ear but at the same time more comfortable than any other IEM I’ve tried.

Heard them at canjam singapore, im not too familiar with IEMs and im also sort of new to the hobby so here goes. They are by truthear. they are red in colour and have (from what i can tell) the same case as the Truthear zero, just with a red crystal thing instead of blue. i found them to have more prominent lower bass and more detailed than the zero. IDK what it was but the SAM audio rep there put something on the end of the cable (like a 3.5 to 3.5mm thing???) that they said was 75 ohms or something along those lines. i have no clue what it was but it improved the resolution and clarity all around. spoke to crinacle and he wouldnt give a price or release date. it was kinda dark in the show floor but it looked to be the same 2DD setup as the zero.

The reason I used to belive was they all sound similar, but higher impedance models are able to take in more power and produce a better sound. The frequency response would be the same for all models, but the higher impedance one is able to get better detail and clarity. But they are all about equally hard to drive, the 80 Ohm need more power than you expect and the 250 Ohm need less than you expect, so that reason is gone.

Likely due to professional use cases which translate well enough to consumer needs. The sound quality from my anecdotal experience is meaningfully improved when moving from 32ohm to 80ohm, a bit from 80ohms to 250ohms and mostly inperceivably from 250ohms to 600ohms. The reason would be the difference in voice coil mass and density and at least makes intuitive sense. The unit variation is also very notable with those models and matters much more.

beats solo 3 mickey edition: personaly favourite travel headphones because they're just fun, and are impossible to leak any sound. are very small too. hifi it is not!
hifiman he400i: my first audiophile set of cans, was my first pair of headphones i bought after owning my m50x's for several years. really good planars for the price. rarely picking these up though to be honest. was a gateway drug of sorts though.
lcd 2: no clue what version this is but this was my first big purchase and i absolutely adore them, i need new pads though they are not thick enough and hurt my ears.
focal elegia: got these today after the big sale at addictedtoaudio, love these to death and are my new favourite headphones. super comfortable, fell in love with the tuning even if it is a bit mid forward.
grado sr60x: a bit too sharp for me, but with the dekoni pads, this is my gaming headphone of choice just because of how comfortable and lightweight they are. good for jazz too!
m50x: i've had this pair for years and they have a special place in my heart. been through the thick and thin with me, made me fall in love with music even more, even if now i can point out the flaws with them. i love my m50's and im tired of pretending that i dont.
sennheiser hd 600: love these, you don't need to hear me review them but yes they're super comfortable, and fit me the best out of any headphone i own, next to the elegia's. love these so much.
rode nth 100: love these cans, very comfortable if you can get them to fit right. i have not suffered any cc issues with my pair, so i love them! great for hip hop and rock, just super punchy.
