Getting a mechanical keyboard after having opened back headphones was such a mistake...

Can't listen to music and type at all. Gaming is so clacky. I'm not a fan. It definitely a switch thing, but I don't see myself getting into this domain.

Enjoying this very organic “scandal” being brought up by reddit accounts in broken English who’ve never posted about anything remotely IEM related before

Man, I feel for you.

I was pissed when my M&D MH40s started falling apart just outside their warranty, and they were "only" $300. I can't imagine spending HE1000SE level cash and having to do two RMAs within the warranty period.

At that level, the QC assurance should be absolutely top notch. No excuses.

If you are happy with XS, just stick with them. Arya SE is an upgrade in all fronts compared to the XS. The soundstage of SE opens up with good amps and reaches upto 95% of the Arya v2. The clarity, details and dynamics are really good compared to the XS. Having said that there is no reason to upgrade if you are contempt with the XS.

Already on my third pair in two years. First issue right driver died, second time the pads started disintegrating and now after a peaceful night of coding, the right driver just died. Thinking about owning these after warranty runs out is a scary though... 😐

Hey bud, let me be the guy who told you up front just to buy the Koss KPH30i for $30 and save yourself thousands of dollars chasing the perfect headphone. It doesn't exist, but one listen to the KPH30i and you'll have an experience that is 90% just as good as any $200+ headphones. They look cheap, but they come with a lifetime warranty so don't let that stop you from trying them. I only wish someone had spoken up at the beginning before I started this hobby and told me about them! I enjoy trying different headphones, but these would have been just fine.

I don't know why you're being defensive, no one is giving you a hard time for having an opinion. But thinking that the headband will break (even though it hasn't) is not an "experience", and I didn't understand your point about the headphones being fatiguing after EQ.

Freshreviews use to be a very good reviewer. But lately, he has been turning into a Z Reviews. Every few weeks there is a new IEM that is the best in his opinion, and moves it to the top of his wall hack list.

The Vulkan was his #1 pick maybe 3 months ago. It’s about to get knocked off of his list.

Not saying that your review is bad, or that these are bad, it’s more of a rant that he has fallen down that salesman reviewer hole.
