The Sony didn't improve it, it's just the output impedance of the Sony headphone port being high enough (more than 1/th the impedance of the headphone) that's is altering the FR and adding bass boost... That's not the way the HD560S sounds

I'm satisfied with my DT 770 with EQ and my Fidelio X3's with EQ. The HE400SE interests me a lot though but I'm not sure I need another headphone.

In the closed category I looked at the SHR 440 and 840 and chose DT 770 in the end because I got them refurbished for a low price and the comfort seemed great + they had a good reputation despite a fairly few founding their tonal balance to be too bright. With EQ I'm personally loving the DT 770 Pro and the same goes for the Fidelio X3 which with EQ sounds like a clearer version of the generally beloved X2.

Admittedly I don't own any, but I think the general concensus is that they're very good... When they're not breaking. QC lottery and total lack of replacement parts combined with the price has always put me off buying clears, if I'm spending that amount of money I'd like to at least know that if a part fails, it can be replaced.

Tin HiFi T2 is an in ear monitor not earbuds so they go inside your ear canals, if you kinda make it sit outside your ears they would definitely fall out. and make sure you put cable over around your ears.
