Even if I can't hear the difference, disc space isn't that costly anymore... It's like paying for a streaming service which offers FLAC and mp3 streaming, when not concerned by the amount of data, why would I go for the technical less quality one? When the expanse is literally the same, this question is just rhetorical...

The point was about a lot of audiophile mumbo jumbo can be ignored as effectively as fantasy or just absurd nonsense. Which is true, audio is a very complicated mixture of tech for a very basic form of hearing that is easily tricked.

So given that you have both the hexa and the b2d how would how does the hexa compare to the b2d when it comes to layering, imaging, and resolution?

Hard Agree!

We've already hit the audibility improvement threshold when it comes to modern DACs and AMPs. And we are wayy past what can be called diminishing returns territory here.

There's nothing that can be further improved in a modern DAC or AMP that can 'sound' good.

I'm just repeating words at this point.

The only way to 'listen' to a DAC/AMP is by using probes.

Don't come at me pointing to a review of a Good DAC or AMP that was done by listening to it.

If you see a review on the Internet that derives its conclusion from listening to a headphone on a DACAMP, it's at best inaccurate and at worst fraudulent and misleading.

We have reached point of diminishing returns but fortunately not audibility threshold limit with headphones. So that's where everybody is pouring their money.

Lol you’re welcome! 😇

Honestly, I don’t think the Elekit struggles with the HE6se. I just can’t say for sure since I have no other reference point. Emotiva has some awesome looking amps spec wise. I mean, 8.5w @ 47ohms????? That’s ridiculous! And it’s cheap lol

A self proclaimed Audiophile's dictionary of terms can be vast and countless.

If it can't be corroborated by measurements - they're nothing more than numberous mythical Names in Harry Potter that don't exist in real life.

And lastly never forget: Most of these people will give high praise meant for Can A to Can B in a blind listening test.

Probably because part of their enjoyment of the hobby is derived from partaking in the community, and they've been around long enough to see the meta shift from something they had fun with to something less appealing to them.

Come on man, use your imagination a little bit lol.

At first I couldn’t handle the treble as well, but then after I changed to the stock medium black core white tips, and then push them deep into my ears, like as deep as it goes, soundstage suddenly open up, treble is less harsh and bass is fuller as well. Did you try that?
