Just curious but how old are you? I ask as I’m 21 and I had the same issue with the og clear but not with the radiance or clear mg.

Mp3 starts doing something weird to cymbals, especially at lower bit rates.

But Spotify isn’t MP3. It’s Vorbis which is definitely higher quality than MP3 per bit.

This is me with Joan of Arse. I’ve got their debut album on vinyl, and I’ve tried to record it to audacity, but it has some skips that I’m not able to get out. Only audio I can find of it online is a single track on YouTube uploaded in 2010.

THWIP is not the band, that's the name of the album. The duo was Two Chilekings. And THWIP is their one and only album. Though the bassist was relatively active (RIP)

The only difference I notice between FLAC and 320kpbs AACL/MP3 is that MP3 files sound thin compared to FLAC.

I can't be sure you will tell me the truth if the samples comes from the right sources so I wont be convinced today. I already did this test with spotify and tidal before switching. You also chose songs that are basically not that technical and I use hd560s.
But I'll try it anyway.

Its always available for download on some obscure japan only site, and then you will never get the flac beacuse no one cares enough to spend 500 yen on it and release it
