I think you might be conflating sound pressure (amplitude) and wavelength? Frequency is kind of like the speed of a wave yes, but it's not a product of the sound pressure at all. They're independent. If you haven't heard of sengpiel audio I highly recommend. He explained some of these things pretty well. I use the site for looking up acoustic calculations a lot.

It says on the tin :) So either the goal is reached or their opinion got informed by the marketing material. By the way the ad, they made is really sus in the way it exploits that musical-genre-type of elitism that metal heads get into.

Must've been hell for radio listeners before the age of the internet to find those bands they liked. Like The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet

This is what its like finding Indie music from the 90's, from labels that were consumed in the great buy-out saga. Bands just simply ceased to exists, and their recordings lost in some sort of limbo.

How is frequency an increase in sound pressure? I can alter frequency while maintaining constant sound pressure, as well as vice versa. Frequency is independent of sound pressure. Again two dimensional

+1. Audio is a personal journey and you really just need to try headphones for yourself.

With my pinky and these little scooper things that I found in the ear aisle at the drug store. They're like little shovel looking things made of soft plastic

Pay $20 for an iem.
Get jealous of people who have several thousand $ gear.
"if i EQ my $20 iem to match the fr of a $2000 iem it'll sound the same right?"
Act superior because you "weren't fooled into buying snakeoil".

I agree that the bigger challenge with reproduction could be at recording. We must still recognize the challenges associated at the speakers to perfectly reproduce the sound.
I don't agree with orchestral music and rock/pop/digital music having the same challenge.
I was actually going to ask what prevents recording companies to produce binaural records. It cannot be technical as production costs for such music cannot be too high. Music consumption is more and more through headphones or Iems, especially for critical audience. Yet there is almost no records coming with binaural recordings. What ama I missing?
