The wreck was re-discovered almost 40 years ago, in case anyone who remembers it happening isn't feeling old enough today

I believe it was a cold war nuclear sub USS Scorpion, lost in 1968, not a WW2 boat.

It was in one of James Cameron’s many Titanic documentaries, one where there’s a huge scale model of the wreck.
