Is anyone else sick of how unbelievably shitty autocorrect has become, especially when it doesn’t recognize obvious contractions like ive/I’ve?

It’s honestly atrocious, and inexcusable for a tech giant and industry leader like Apple to have such horrific text correction being arguably one of the most important features on a smart device. Especially in today’s world, where people primarily communicate through texting, and when the only alternative (voice dictation) is equally horrific.

I have had to create literally thousands of keyboard shortcuts to compensate for autocorrect not picking up even the most obvious misspellings and capitalizations of common proper nouns. If I wasn’t already so invested in the Apple ecosystem and accustomed to iOS I would jump to Android in a heartbeat. Get your shit together Apple.
