I didn’t have this problem on any previous iPhone, including my most recent XS.

That’s why I put a screen protector on mine. No issue now.

I upgraded to iPhone 13 Pro Max in the beginning of September and notice the same behavior. Maybe it’s the Ceramic Shield?

What case are you using? That could be a factor…

That’ll be why… silicone cases are massive lint magnets. Change to leather or hard plastic and you’ll be fine.
