The receipt was obviously fake so it would have been a giveaway that the phone was fake also. The address was wrong and someone had written over the warranty date and iPhone model very obviously.😑

When they tried to connect the phone to their google account it came up as a Galaxy note 7, they also couldn't add their apple id.

Enable 2 factor authentication on all critical (and tbh non critical too) internet accounts, which the vast majority these days will support

You don’t simply get hacked and a VPN won’t change anything.

its not the charger its photos app while charging your iphone it start searching for faces and locations and duplicate photos and dont forget icloud backup thats why your iphone start to heat

Of course that's possible. Security vulnerabilities can be extremely bad, to the point where someone can install spyware on your phone without you clicking or anything or knowing about it in any way.

But it's not likely and ordinary people probably don't have to worry about that.

Not sure what inspecting the receipt would do. Those are easily faked as well. Why anyone buys anything expensive on Facebook blows my mind.

This thing sucks. Hold to talk or tap to talk? They always fuck each other up. You can never really tell when it’s recording either. I dunno, I hate it. I miss the old way lol.
