Apple software engineers probably spent months creating a notification that would explain what happened in plain terms everyone can understand, and then along comes OP.

Exactly what it says on the tin: battery can’t deliver enough wattage for the CPU to go full throttle, so it’s making sure the CPU lets off the gas a bit so the battery doesn’t explode.

It’s like driving at high elevation.

They apparently don’t have the “updates” to fix the battery health & the error message on some battery machine. Probably one that copies the old bcm to new bcm. I asked. Then asked why we weren’t told any of this information prior and was hung up on so.

I wasn’t aware. I take care of my phones and never had to worry about replacing anything until this whole battery situation. Like I said in the post if I would’ve known that’s how they would’ve returned it I would’ve never got them to “fix” it. Lesson learned.
