It means they are nearby somewhere, and have to keep looking around. I'll give you an example, I lost my AirPods last week, didn't lose them technically, like misplaced them in my house. On Find My it kept saying that they are nearby and keep looking. I searched the entire house and couldn't find them. And then one night I parked my car on the driveway and as I passed along the garbage bins, I got this notification that AirPods have been found (I had notify when found) turned on. And then I realized they were in the garbage bin. What I mean to say is that it could be in any random place where you will never think of.

It’s something that happens, yeah. On OLED screen phones the burned in image is usually irreversible (it’s called burn-in, in this case), on other phones it usually goes away after a while (that’s called image retention)

He’s obviously talking about an image getting burned into your screen. You’re not going to get a frame of a video burned into your screen unless you pause for a long time, let alone from having the video playing lol

So glad I never got into TikTok. I see posts like this every few weeks, and it’s always the damn TikTok UI burned in. The app seems to be a cancer, both for the person AND the phone lol

Apple Books is not bad, I found out i can put any drm-free ebooks & pdf’s I have onto the Books App on a Mac, and it syncs to all my other devices with iCloud. I didn’t know it did this for awhile.

Otherwise Google Books works well, I have a lot on that app, Kindle is good, too. I usually move to iPad for reading with any of the book apps, though.

Not normal at all. Only if you run at max brightness and heat the phone up. My old xs is still going strong with zero burn in. I do take care of my phones though. Also my 11 pro has zero burn in.
