I had the same problem with a deleted app. Reinstall it and turn off location permissions. Then delete the app and restart your phone.

You have to open it up when there is rain in the next hour and it will activate. That is the only way so far

Apparently I can't do it myself because the original battery identification chip is likely lost. Videos showing battery replacement show the two tabs from the battery being cut and re-welded to the old chip flex circuit.

I’m getting this weird square around my selfie camera, when I’ve talked on my phone. I can wipe it away, but it comes back every time.

Amazon does not actually refurbish anything (just minimal checks to see if it powers up) and then call it renewed, and if it is a third-party seller, as often as not, it is just a repackaged used phone. Last I checked Apple will also not replace a third-party battery - look up the warranty terms online. Personally, I would just return the device for a refund. At least pre-owned from Best Buy has actually been checked out. Amazon "refurbished" is no better than eBay but people think otherwise due to the name. You have no idea what other problems the device may have and you have already been scammed on the battery front. Don't perpetuate it (and help scammers stay in business) by keeping something that is anything but a deal.

They really cheaped out on that battery. Set an appointment with the Apple Store and see what they can do.

Get a ProClip bracket for your car and a set of small screws, a 17mm ball-head adapter and a Maus MagSafe Charging Vent Mount. Screw the adapter to the bracket. Unscrew the jaws from the Maus charger and fit onto the ball-head and install the bracket into your car.

i think you should be able to get a battery replacement at apple, at your local phone repair shop or you could do it yourself

I gave my son my 13 Pro Max last week and thought I could get along using my 3rd generation iphone SE. Nope. It's a great little phone. Going back to 60 hz was worse than I thought. So I bought a Pixel 7 yesterday. So far I like it. It's no A15 for sure and it shows in gaming. I like that the apps are alphabetized and the android experience is different. I am a die hard apple fan. Have the latest watch, ipad. However, I get bored. I tried and returned a Samsung s22 plus and another Samsung earlier this year. Too much overheating even when adding a fan. It was a nice UI though. I will go back to apple late fall 2023 for the 15 and look forward to seeing the long term tests on the newest Snapdragon. The androids seem to be closing the gap a bit.

I’m having the same issue. For me, the issue goes away when I turn off the always on display.

Actually, you can export multiple at a time: on the highlights page, tap and hold one, wait until it “lifts”, then tap the other highlights one by one. With your other finger, use the app switcher to go to a note, drag and drop the highlights there.

Not as great as pre iOS 16, but it’s better than nothing.

That's funny, i went from a 6 pro to a 14 Pro max and I agree with you in a lot of points. To me, iphones are boring, but boring isn't bad. Yes overall I'd say my experience on the iPhone is more polished but that's not to say it wasn't polished on the 6 pro. I do miss the camera on the pixel as it was much better imo. Apps do run better on iOS though WhatsApp, weirdly enough, is the one I solidly prefer on Android.

I do wholeheartedly disagree about notifications though, they're done so much better on Android it's kind of ridiculous. Also, the typing experience is much better on Android too. But to each their own. I do love the hardware of the iPhone but it's software makes me want more.
