Oh for sure on the Apple Care. I for sure have had to send in both Pros (the latest within a month of buying them) for static popping sounds. I think I sent in one of my first pairs too but I don’t fully remember.

Have you tried Gboard for iPhone? It’s not very good. The pixel typing experience was really good

Personally if you're looking for good protection, get an OtterBox. They have some slimmer and some bulkier ones, I prefer the bulkier ones, just because I work in a shop, so the extra protection never hurts, but after a while you stop noticing the bulk. Thin cases to me always just feel like an accident waiting to happen

I am on my fourth pair. I bought them a month before the new pros came out :/ hehe
So they were 1st and 2nd gen AirPods and two pair of 1st gen AirPods Pro.
My wife has only been through two pair in that time and she mostly upgraded from 1st gen AirPods to get the pro features. She still uses hers 5+ hours a day but doesn’t fall asleep in them or accidentally get into the shower with them every few months.

I have a similar issue with the Lock Screen torch and camera icons and it’s throwing out my muscle memory from older phones. I’m needing to try to turn on the light twice because even though the screen is on the touch registration doesn’t seem to turn on for a while after. It’s very frustrating.

At about the two year mark mine start to have battery or sound issues. They are still usable so I give them to family but I am a heavy user (often 16+ hours a day) so for me they become annoying.

If you've spent more than 5 years with one platform, I honestly think that for 98% of those people who switch brands, they will not last.
I'm the opposite. I was an Android user since 2010. Switched to an iPhone 13. I enjoyed it. Even got the 14 Pro; I enjoyed that as well, but I just missed Android and the things that it does better than iPhone (don't get me wrong, there are a ton of things Apple does better than Android).
We're creatures of habit. We love what we know.

You can do it yourself with a known good battery. The only downside is that settings will say that the battery is not genuine, but otherwise it will work.

I pretty much exclusively use OEM MagSafe chargers on my phone. Works great. No issues. Battery health stats still looking good over a year later.
I them on my nightstand, my desk, and in my living room.

What does Apple have to do with this? Return it to Amazon.
