Was it a reputable battery/repair manufacturer?

Ahhh! That’s cool! Thank you. I have one more question kind of similar, maybe you’d know the answer to? I noticed that when you hold onto a picture, the main image in the picture can be taken out and be sent individually. Found that by accident too. But the first time I did it, it seemed like I could maybe drop that image into another picture or even video? Didn’t really try, because I was in a rush to send it, but it looked like you could, can you?

I’ve been using F-Secure Freedome for years. Good speeds, trustworthy and European company. Other providers have more locations etc but it works well so I have no inclination to shop around for something new.

All that work trying to conserve battery health, and it did nothing.

You guys need to stop obsessing over battery health. You've had this phone for over a year, it has an older, smaller battery. Your battery health is completely normal. Just use your phone, enjoy it, and stop trying to conserve the life of something you're going to replace within a few years. It will last far longer than you plan on keeping it.

Damn found this post at a perfect time. I just got my Jio eSIM done an hour ago. For context, my phone was from Dubai, so I can explain the process.

  1. You can port your current number easily, don't worry about it.
  2. It will not cause an issue, however make sure that you mention this fact to them.

Go to a Jio showroom to get this done. In my case, we forgot to tell them that my phone is from Dubai so the process failed and we had to go back there to do it again. They will have to do something called bKYC (Branch KYC), so make sure you mention that your phone is not from India.

Jio supports eSIM and the transition happens smoothly. Takes a total of 2 hours from requesting the transfer to getting the sim activated. On iPhone when you request the eSIM the profile is automatically downloaded to your target device. You don't need to visit the store.

Make sure you read the pdf thoroughly or if you need help DM will be glad to assist.

In India we now have Jio, Airtel & Vi supporting eSIM. I have all three on my phone and I use any 2 at a time while turning the other off.
