Will airdrop allow me to keep my folder organization? And also, if I airdrop photos to the iPhone, then plug it in to the mac to import photos I took, won’t it also show all the airdropped photos (which would already be in the mac photos library)?

It annoys me even more because i just spent several months organizing 50k photos I had going back to 2012 from different drives and cloud services and finally got them all sorted down to 8,000 keepers and they are mostly in folders from certain times in my life or certain events/holidays. Losing all that would be honestly devastating at this point since I spent so much time on it.

I get what you are saying, but some “APPLE MADE” battery’s aren’t from Apple. You see, some batteries companies put a sticker on the battery so it looks original. People go out of their way to get one and they don’t know that it’s not an apple battery. You can even change the health of the battery if it’s damaged. So it’s better off buying a reliable 3 party battery than risk buying a battery that says it’s from Apple.

Is trading in an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a iPhone 14 (regular) considered an upgrade? I have started to hate the big size of my 11 pro max, and been wanting to switch to a smaller phone, however I’m thinking of just getting the normal iPhone 14 (better price, lighter, the 3 cameras are too big on the 14 pro). I’m wondering if it would be a mistake to go for 14, and if it’s better to consider getting the 14 pro instead.

I think spending money on a 7 is not worth it anymore, upgrade if you can , if you are on a really tight budget buy like a 8 and save up for a nice upgrade

There is continuity..its just Apple wont replace your phone if your display exhibits a bit more color shifting than some othere. My phone has color shifting too when I tilt it etc, but my panel has even brightness all around around and looks perfect to me…my previous 12 screen was also “perfect” besides blacks being grey sometimes in low brightness.

It just happens to be some Apple fans are the most OCD types of people and want their phone to literally be flawless out the box in everyway. I was once like that too, you aren’t gonna get a color shiftless free OLED panel because it doesnt exist

No OEM will replace your phone for free because of color shifting. That’s just how it is, if you get the phone new check for any defects before settling in…you have 14 days to return it no questions asked even for the smallest thing if it bothered you

I used to not run cases or screen protectors, and my last iPhone had like shit load of scratches on it from regular use , I don’t put it with anything in my pocket and always clean my pocket , also the oleophobic coating on the screen is completely gone and finger prints are horrible now they don’t get wiped away easily , I recommend going caseless but the screen protector no , if you replace your phone every year or two then fine go without it but if you are like me and upgrade when the phone isn’t doing what you want then I don’t recommend it as when the coating wears off it’s a horrible experience and smudges and fingerprints seem to be stuck on their for ever

I have the same issue with mine since I bought it but I noticed it after the return period expired, tried with apple back and forth for like 4 months , they refused to help and stated that the phone is perfect , so I lived with it , try going to apple though , they may replace it for free if it’s under warranty
