Mind you it can charge a Nintendo switch a bunch of Samsung phones too so maybe the voltage is good for all of that?

It was semi slow when it first released but now you hardly notice it’s there.

Depends on how charged it is when you plug it in. Charging isn’t an instant thing, you know. :)

When traveling to different country, I just go to nomad app and install an esim for destination country. Costs me $15 or so. Gets me through the trip.

+1. Didn't even think about draining battery. Everything was normal.

Fair but 1% in 5 minutes on a 30w charger is particularly slow, no? That suggests it would take 8 hours to charge on a fast charger.

Face ID is superior to Touch ID in every way IMO. Wash your hands, in the rain, grease from food, and a million other things, and Touch ID no longer works. Face ID works every time, it doesn’t care if I have a hat on, glassed on, beard, no beard, it doesn’t care, it works.

Ok good to know. Thank you for explaining. Only reason I got this is they gave my $800 for my 12 which I know I’ll never get again. I guess I was expecting to see a noticeable difference like upgrading a 3090 to a 4090 GPU

I considered the Zenfone 9 long and hard since it's the smallest Android that checks all my other boxes, but it's just a little bigger than i would like. The iphone mini is truly one handed operation for me and that particular feature is currently still in balance with my complaints. Then with the incentives available at the time the iphone ended up costing about a 3rd what the Zenfone was.

Thanks for explaining. You might be missing the point: your shiny new phone makes almost no difference in performance for most apps. You’d have been perfectly happy with the older, slower phone for a few more years.
Enjoy the tangible features. Don’t buy the latest and greatest if there aren’t any.

If I buy a faster car I can hear it and drive it and feel it’s faster. If I go from a 60 fps monitor to a 144 I can see the picture is smoother. If I upgrade a video card on my pc I can see better graphics when gaming. I go from iPhone 12 to 14 so asking for something I can feel a difference in because using mail, phone, iMessage, Facebook and GroupMe doesn’t feel any different on the 14

It’s fine. There are definitely times when I’d prefer Touch ID (why can’t we just have both?) but for 90% of the time FaceID does the job without much hassle.

You can run the benchmarks yourself.

30,000 MaH is the capacity of the battery. So it don't really matter much, that voltage tho...... I'm a bit worried

So I’ve never realized having two sims was a thing now. I have an AT&T personal iPhone 12 Pro Max and and iPhone XR work phone. I currently have it set up so all my work calls are forwarded to personal number. Is it possible to put both sims on personal phone? Could I convert my ATT sim to an esim and simply put my work sim in and have access to both? If I did this could I make calls from either number of I wanted to? Could I also send and receive texts from either number? Or am I better off the way it’s setup now with call forwarding in place?
