It's getting closer, but I don't think it'll every replace the DSLR or mirrorless camera like the Sony A7.

The second image looks like an extreme version of the pictures I've taken. Definitely give ProRAW a shot to see. I think there's just too much going on for the 12 MP version to handle.

Wait, hold the iPhone! I thought that this was completely verboten. That mass shooting/terrorist attacked in California a few years back, the fbi was competing shut down, no?

People who compare an iPhone to DSLR don’t know cameras. An iPhone will never replace DSLR’s and for a smartphone it takes excellent pics but has its limitations whereas a high end dedicated DSLR doesn’t. You can reduce sharpness when you edit the photo after it’s taken. Or play around with the various photographic styles and you can edit your own. ProRaw will get you more comparable results to a DSLR especially if you set it to 48MP.

You can also look at third party camera apps if you wish to tweak things even more.

People hack things so they can get money or personal information, not to say "haha lets keep opening this app and turning on the light". I can't imagine some dude in Pakistan sitting at his desk and saying "it's working boss, we hacked it. what now? Flashlight? OKAY"

It's 100% not hacked.

I will try ProRaw, have hearing a lot of good things about it. Will post my finding here.

And the reason I got myself an iPhone was because I read many "reviews" saying that iPhone photos can easily match photos taken on DSLR in most of the cases.

Anyways do you know if the iPhone photos' sharpness can be toned down or turned off somewhere in the settings?

Thanks!

Also this is dependent on what you’re looking for out of a VPN. This post is assuming you want it for security/privacy reasons. So long as I can prevent identity theft I don’t care at all about these things, if I’m gonna use a VPN it’s literally just gonna be to get access to TV shows and movies I can’t get in the United States and for that someone like nord is the best option I’ve seen. Relatively cheap, lots of platforms, lots of server countries, and pretty good connection

Having done it before; apple will provide what is requested via superior court judge signed search warrant or court order. They require a court order or search warrant though. We’ve solved numerous cases from homicides to b&e based off some of the data provided by apple. However; I have never heard of apple coming to the agency and unlocking a device.

I will say, apple will only provide what’s requested, if they have it (location, email, demographics tied to account). They do not have access to iMessages, emails, calls, or information saved on the device. That’s where a second court order and a good forensics investigator comes in. We can hack into the device (under court order / search warrant or consent only) and get all the data from the device. Not something we go through apple for though.

I’ve yet to attempt one with the new encryption feature from ios16 though. I will say they are some of the hardest devices to crack. It’s why we hate working with them, but all own them lol

Nothing defective about it if you don’t like the way the photo was processed play with photographic styles or create your own. The other option is to shoot in ProRaw which is also how you can activate the 48MP images. But never compare any smartphone camera to a dedicated cam or DSLR.

For day to day pics 14 Pro takes some of the best pics I’ve seen on a phone using the photographic styles and 12MP binned images and even better with ProRaw, but again don’t try comparing to a dedicated camera setup with larger lenses.

That looks interesting. Can the charge plate be removed from the air vent clip and retain its ball joint? If it can, I wonder if it’s compatible with the Scosche MagicMount.

This is essentially my setup but with the Scosche MagSafe charger.

This is another photo I found on their site:

That’s what my setup looks like. It’s the adhesive MagicMount with the MagSafe charger.
