The thing you are asking for is not going to be exclusively a “fitness band” but rather a smartwatch which is capable of mirroring your mobile notifications to it. An Apple Watch is the best integration you will have for that. Regardless of whether or not you want the features of even an Apple Watch SE it is very likely your best option and has significantly better fitness tracking than most options

If you want to get a new sim for every trip, Jio might be better. Their process to get eSim at least in Mumbai is super-smooth. Although, they too have their arbitrary rules too - eg: They won't let you change eSims unless you're physically in India.

I'm also a bit surprised you can't add the email address while creating the account. Might be some extra work to get their agent to do this, but might be worth the hassle if it saves you the 2 days.

There won’t be a new SE in 2023. Most likely spring of 2024. They have had to scale back on production of the 14 Plus. It’s sales are worse than the mini. The Pro Max will probably be replaced by the Ultra. Dynamic island most likely will come to everything but the SE. USB-C technically doesn’t have to happen until the iPhone 17 so I’m guessing they’ll squeeze at least one more year out of Lightning.

Try Settings > Siri & Search, then disable “Suggestions on Lock Screen".

If (as the other commenter mentioned) it turns out U2 is playing in the official Music app from Apple instead of Spotify, and the above doesn’t work, add this track to your library: https://music.apple.com/us/album/a-a-a-a-a-very-good-song-silent-track/1268932999?i=1268933000

Edit: You could also delete the “Music” app entirely instead of adding the above song, if you plan to use Spotify exclusively

I’m running on a Mint Sim as well, just like OP. Nearly pulled the trigger for a 14 PM last Oct.

Coming from an 8 Plus PR (I still have it, my back up; a keeper). Am still a firm believer of a physical SIM. That is why I prefer (after weighing the Pros vs Cons between the two) and went for a mint year old 13 PM instead (vs a new 14 PM). The 13 PM is just perfect for my yearly international travels.

With both physical SIM and eSIM abilities, the 13 PM is more versatile than the sole eSIM 14 PM. Removing the physical SIM from the 14 PM was a cost cutting measure for the US market (many fail to realize). Apple didn’t raise prices for the iPhone in the US as they claim..but of course, there’s gotta be a “trade off” somewhere (removing the physical SIM feature)..

Philosophically speaking no one wants their data privacy such as location be compromised.

But in practice it matters little unless you commit a crime.

Haha! I considered it, but I don’t need another phone. Additionally, it sounds like it won’t really turn on or even work, like it needs to be activated with a phone company. Especially if it was someone else’s order that got mixed in with mine perhaps.

And if I were to sell it, someone else might not be able to turn it on if it was meant to go to someone else and is disabled, and I wouldn’t sleep well if I knew I may have screwed someone out of money for a deadweight iPhone.

So, I think I didn’t word this properly, my apologies.

When I say I opened the box and the iPhone wasn’t in there, I mean the actual iPhone box, not the shipping box. You know how they come in a white box container with a picture of the iPhone on the front and what not? I mean I opened that box and it was empty. Like the literal container.

I did get an empty trade in box as well, it was sent when I received the internet equipment.

Sorry for the confusion, so many boxes and I’m not sure how to word it. Lol

Edit to add: I grabbed the iPhone’s box, out of the top of the shipping box. I didn’t open the white iPhone box itself bc I wanted the store associate to put my screen protector on and I wear so much sunscreen that I would have gotten the beautiful new screen covered in zinc oxide residue and what not. So I opened the iPhone container for the first time, in store, in front of the associates. They thought I was playing a prank on them at first when I asked where the phone was.

it was in the same box. It was beneath tissue paper and a bunch of papers from Verizon. It’s totally wrapped in plastic so I’m assuming there’s a phone in there still lol. I’m just super confused as to how it ended up in there, I just feel like I have so many questions I won’t get answers to.

It wasn’t stolen. When you purchase a phone with a trade in option they ship you an empty box separately, and typically before your actual phone arrives. Your phone is still in transit. You received the trade in shipping box to mail in your trade in phone.

I'd say my autocorrect has been consistently awful. I usually spend about as much time editing as i do typing. In particular mine likes to add extra letters to short words.
