Day 106 of waiting for my Iphone to arrive🙂

I wish I could do in store pickup for my Apple products, but the closest Apple Store to me is in Las Vegas, which is 2 hours from where I live.

Any RAW format is the image exactly as captured by the camera’s sensor. Pro RAW is the one used by your iPhone. They are uncompressed and look awful until you manually ‘develop’ them in software, but you have complete control over the image so they are favored by advanced photographers. They are really large, though, and could eat into that 256 GB.

I ordered a new iphone & got two day shipping. had my mom stay at my house all day so i could have someone sign for it. They “missed” us two days in a row.. despite having someone at my house both days. I spent 4 hours on the phone with UPS two days in a row trying to find out where my phone was. No one from UPS could get me answers or change the delivery instructions for me. As soon as i got verizon involved, my phone was ready for pick up at the store. (Which the manager told me they were NOT allowed to do). Im so glad i got Verizon involved. I have decided that time i order a new phone, i’ll pick it up from Verizon. Every time i use UPS to ship my phones, there is a problem.

on the flip side of this is the fact that i always end up hitting the junk option accidentally and have to backtrack to remove it from junk. it's a welcome but they could do it better.

Apollo has been out for years. They need to create an iPad app though.

I’m typing this on my iPhone 7. It’s overall in good shape. I replaced the screen after it pretty much completely shattered after being dropped. The frame has a few very minor scratches in the paint, but visually still looks great. It’s my first phone, it was originally my mother’s but after she dropped it and broke the screen she upgraded to 13 mini, and I repaired the screen. I’m planning to keep using it until it breaks to the point that it’s unusable. The home button is a little finicky and clicks even with light pressure sometimes, but I don’t mind. I haven’t noticed much lag or anything on apps, despite the outdated processor, I guess because iOS is so efficient. I love that the phone is small. I also frankly prefer Touch ID. I recently jailbroke it which has been another fun rabbit hole to go down! I’m definitely going to be keeping this phone for a while.

The most annoying thing about it for me is not the accuracy but how long it takes to make the “correction”. It’ll “correct” a word after I’m already done typing the next so then I have to manually slide the pointer back, make the real correction, and then manually put it where I left off. The inaccuracy is annoying but at least if it was faster, I could correct it’s correction immediately instead of 3 words down the road.

It’s been years since I’ve downloaded/bought a new app, there haven’t really been anything worthwhile that would’ve cought my attention. Been using Apollo for reddit and Reeder for RSS for the longest time, other than that, nothing.

UPDATE: ok so if you have cracked the front AND back of your iphone 13 Pro they will give you a brand new one (NOT a refurbished one) for 549 which honestly is better than just the 500 to replace the back lol :)

Apple can remove an iCloud lock from a device. After that lock is removed you should be able to change the password.
