It's a real shame that phone case sellers never show what plastic it is made of.

For example ASA plastic (Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is becoming more popular in 3D printing, one of its greatest strengths is resistance to sunlight so it doesn't degrade nearly as fast as other thermoplastics. It's really strong too, around the same as ABS.

This page has all the info on the feature. Seems the carrier enabling it is probably stopping a lot of people from using this. Personally I don’t get that Report option

When you use iMessage, you can report spam messages to Apple. Depending on your carrier and country or region, you can also report spam you receive with SMS and MMS.

Thanks for sharing your experience OP. For myself, I always buy phones in the carrier store, or order them directly from Apple online. Buying phones through carriers online always seems like such a hassle to me, and asks for possible issues. Anyways, you confirmed for me to not order lol Edit: spelling

Take the packaging with you on the trip. Stop by another Verizon store and trade it if they have what you want. If not, try another store. Don’t settle for what you don’t want or you’ll never be happy

Shazam has a free 4 months of Apple Music, you can set reminders for every day at a certain time, holding down on space bar moves the cursor wherever in text, you have to click the box above words for it to not autocorrect, at least that’s most of the important stuff I found when I switched. Scanned them maybe at the warehouse? Doubt a Verizon employee took it.. surely they get free phones etc (no idea btw if they do). I imagine at the processing facility it was scanned and removed. Would be my best guess at least

Probably nothing, to me this looks very similar to high frequency vibration damage which can happen if you mount your cell phone to a motorcycle or some other engine.

I'm not saying that's what happened though but this looks like a damaged camera struggling to focus correctly. At that point there's not much you can do outside of replacing the camera in the phone.

The best bet is those colored cases on side and also that have a glass back...the plastic hard cases that are clear has this problem as well...I have a silicone case for my iphone 13 pro max, but I changed it this year
